I like those Merrells!
If I had the money, I'd get about 4 drastically different kinds of shoes/ boots. But I don't, so I usually end up getting something more versatile than those boots I have on hold.
Think I'll keep looking.
So.....what was Colonel Simon West wearing under his kilt?
[And what's that on their laps? Scones?]
http://www.thisislondon.com/news/articles/14606176
Gee, no one told them to put their knees together!
The item on their laps is called a sporran - sort of a Scottish man-purse, which is sometimes furry and frequently tasselled. I've never seen any that had scone-like attachments before.
The colonel does seem to be stretching his kilt to allow a better view, doesn't he?
And that's a rather knowing grin. (I've always had a weakness for rogues...)
Oh...man-purses! Simon West's looks like a Pekingese puppy.
Today I'm wearing a long narrow light black denim skirt, an off-the-shoulder short-sleeve red/purple/blue plaid sweater with a knotted self-fabric rosette thing at the cleavage, and western boots. I look quirky but hot!
navy knit yoga pants with embroidery at the ankle
matching hoodie cardigan
pale blue ruffled tee
my favourite baked potato clogs
i couldn't be bothered to fuss this morning
white dressy shirt and
blue/white plaid slacks - fresh from the farm

in the midst of the city.
Soggy sneakers. Took a walk at lunch even though it was snowing.
Maroon sweatshirt and blue jeans complete the ensemble.
Not exactly GQ material.
Hot damn, Kristie!!!
(You mean dessert, don'tcha?)
Amazingly, I am wearing the exact same outfit as Kristie.
What a small sartorial world it is.
The scone like thingys on the sporan are tufts of horse hair.
I belong to a pipe band, just learning to tortue the unsuspecting...he he he
When the queen is in attendance you're supposed to wear your undies, thankfully she doesn't get around to these parts to often. <smirk>
It's not snowing in the Midwest yet, so I guess I can wear this strapless smocked top:

It's made of velour (to keep me warm?) and versatile enough to be worn with a skirt, nice pants or jeans. They were on sale and I had an additional 30% off, so I decided to get two, a green one and a blue one.
Cold shoulders?
Green cargo pants and a grey hoody!
Barely awake.......checking email, private messages, Yahoo Messenger offlines....
Is this Monday? Why is it so early? I can see why some people drink coffee.
White thermal sleepshirt with multicolor snowflakes print, fluffy white socks.
heather blue knit jumper/pinafore
hot pink 3/4 sleeve t with lace from the bodice up
navy tights
high heeled burgundy boots
comfy without being schleppy
Jeans
sad black boots
red long-sleeve t
I'm sorry boots, you've served me well, but I need new ones!!
