narrowish skirts? the tallish boots
I'll ask about the swirlyish skirts
I'm wearing a garnet velour ankle length skirt, with a cranberry sweater (with lots of little ties at the wrists and neckline). flip flop style sandals in garnet satin with multi coloured indian-style embroidery and pearls. a bit hippiesh in mood.
And very colorful! Sounds beautiful.
Not that I can see...but
George has lotsa kids' clothes...

Charcoal fleece zippered hooded jacket, blue shorts, leopard print socks. Boring?
just changed out of my "go to a meeting away from work" outfit
baby blue 3/4 sleeve scoop neck sweater, with a tiny ruffle around the neck
a pink sweater, with a tiny ruffle all the way around the neck and front opening, and around the bottom of the sleeves
black 7/8's length pants, with turquoise-coloured glass beaded fringe
turquoise earrings and bracelet
knee length black duster over the outfit, and a black poncho over top of that
dressy black platform sandals
now i'm in my leopard print casual pants with a giant custard yellow cape cod sweat shirt
black denim 2 pocket shirt, brown calf-skin vest, button-fly levi's, lizard skin c-boy boots.
mmm leopard print...grrrrrowl!
<nodding>
leopard print can be verra verra grrrrrrrrowl-worthy
Nah. Leopard.
Long (ankle-length) black skirt, fabric has some heft to it, A-linish (linear, not full). Allover graphic print scoopneck 3/4 length sleeve t, has a sort of eastern lotus-ish abstract print centered on the front in blues, orange, and brown, black neckband, one sleeve abstract watery design, one sleeve black and blue Indian print, back has some goldfish and stuff. Love this shirt.
I have finally come around to the realization that if you spend money on good stuff, you will likely spend less money overall. I bought this shirt some 6 years ago in L.A. -- it was cutting edge then, and expensive (over 50 bucks I think, don't remember), and it's been my favorite t-shirt since. Has held up great in terms of both color and style.
Anyway other than that, black maryjanes (another one of those realizations) and a denim jacket.
I'm in PJs. green tea floral knit pants and a red beater shirt. I have a grey double-thick long robe on and funky thong slippers. Ima hafta buy a better set of slippers soon.
(Oh, started that before other answers to cinn's question... weird. Nothing for 4 hours and then whammo.)
im wearing my standard greek oak leaf... anyone else?
l'k, i just got some great shoes to wear as slippers at Old Navy. They're cut like ballet slippers done up as sneakers. Very comfy - and good traction! (and only about $4 canajun on sale)
I saw those! Corduroy? Was eyeing 'em, couldn't figure out what I'd wear them with. Slippers, yeah.
sort of an autumn print, skinny corduroy, greens and oranges and reds
*deal* *score* !!!
yer right, soz. the good quality stuff is worth the investment - or the time spent searching for it in vintage/pre-loved shops
awe those are cute... not what i'd wear but hey
Yep, saw those. Well actually not those exact ones -- the ones I saw were red. I have a shirt with an exactly matching print!
And definitely about vintage. My 30's and 40's jackets are a treasure. Started getting 'em when they were cheap cheap cheap (like $1), now it has to be a pretty clueless thrift shop that sells 'em for less than $40. Ah well.
Don't forget Goodwill, soz. I got a great black cashmere car coat last year for $12 or $15 canajun. You can still find good stuff, if you're occasionally thorough. I don't go often, but when I go, I work those racks over.
