ooooh the hair

if you drew a line horizontally around the back of my head - top of ear to top of ear - the hair below is sorta burnt caramel

the area above is streaks and chunks of light blonde/dark blonde/burnt caramel

the way it's cut right now, the lighter layers at the back sit above about 4 inches of burnt caramel

i'm working on something for the summer

Cool

Back from watching the Canada Day fireworks with the neighbours.

Wearing my black capris with the white racing stripes, a red white and black Team Canada hockey jersey (best golf tournament prize ever!), and a bad sunburn. Took off my red and white striped Cat in the Hat hat when I came in. It seemed a bit much. Very Happy

wondering if anyone will notice if I put the same outfit on this year

maybe something crazier?

right now, pale yellow baby doll nightie, and surfer jams with giant pink and yellow flowers (had to get halfway decent to put out the Canada Day sign on the lawn)

Happy Canada Day!

I have khaki cargo capris and a chocolate brown tank on. Gonna spend the day whipping the backyard into shape, whoo-hoo! This tank is one of the new long styles we (general A2K "we") were talking about somewhere recently, great for when I'm being bendy and don't want to pull the damn thing down all the time.

Oh funny, was just thinking about this thread this morning as I put on a new outfit. Nothing much -- new dark long boot-cut jeans, new garnet long-sleeve cotton t-shirt -- but they both fit. Wearing 'em with black boots and a brown silk crochet long scarf (it's cold) and garnet earrings.

I like your socks.

I like your socks too.

It's finally cooling off here. Until last week, I owned no long-sleeve shirts! (Well, I used to, but I gave them all to Goodwill.) Is it possible to get tired of wearing new clothes all the time?

I'm wearing a jade green long sleeve t-shirt, gray non-fleece sweatpants, and green & brown monkey socks.

no shorts today Shocked

~~~~
I seem to always have socks that don't match (doesn't everyone?).
A friend's young daughter went through a phase where she refused to go to school with matching socks. I kinda liked her style, and decided that I'd wear my leftover socks in her honour on weekends. I'm still going with it eight years later.
tired of new clothes?
not yet.
Monkey socks. Like those.
Kinda dressed up for me. Long sleeved teal t-shirt, long dark straight legged jeans, high, high-heeled chocolate brown boots and a chocolate brown leather jacket. It's cool here. Silver hoop earings with blue beads in 'em.
