Not jealous at all.

You must feel sorry for the poor lad! Forced to endure a totally foreign climate at Christmas!

When are you arriving? Twisted Evil

New Hampshire. 25 degrees F outside. Big storm. Power went out last night. Hasn't come back yet. Posting by cell phone on remaining charge. Hoping parents have power at their house and can still cook the turkey Smile

@rosborne979,
"I'm dreaming ....of a white....thanksgiving...."

No turkey for me today. I'm just off down the Cat and Fiddle pub (just gone noon here) and look forward to meeting a mate I haven't seen for ages, drink one or two frothy foamers and scoff a Steak and Ale Pie dinner.

Have a good one!

@Butrflynet,
I love it. Sitting at home, all warm and cozy while thinking of the drunks leaving the bars at closing time - trying to make their frozen cars start.

I hope that nasty stuff clears up before I'm due back in town. I need to be there more often, but don't need a hundred or more miles in the dark, on ice and snow.

Currently 48 F degrees in Scottsdale, which should end up being the high. And it's raining.

We are supposed to top off in the 40s today and tomorrow. Can't complain. Some of the trees still have fall colors.

Cold in NH right now, mid 20's (F). But last week it was over 50's (F). And we've only had one snow storm (Thanksgiving day). So far I consider this a very mild winter, at least for NH.

Last winter was brutally cold a lot of the time. But this one barely feels like winter. Of course, we're not out of the woods yet because Jan/Feb are typically the coldest months.

I was just thinking about that today. A year ago, we had no power for a day and a half, and more than a million people in southern Ontario were without power, some for a week. We then went in to a bitter deep freeze. Most weeks, i was lucky if it warmed up enough to walk the dogs one day in seven. So far, so good . . .

Cold for us here, but not like my sometime childhood in Chicago. I assume my car battery will need a recharge as the car lives outside on the driveway. What I've figured out recently is that in my area we are slightly protected by the nearness of the Petroglyphs, as temps shown on Wunderground seem to vary that way. I'll have to pay more attention.

Glad I'm indoors this new years eve.
Going to be near freezing and raining from now all through tomorrow.

I think the meteological term is "yucky"

I hope all the people out tonight are careful.

Put two coats on the tiny dog to walk her tonight.

Hopefully it's back to one coat temps tomorrow.

Happy New Year!
