Cold Coffee or Tea?

Can you do it?

My friend drinks the stuff all the way from luke warm to flat out ice cold. I can't bear it but when you pay 2 bucks at Tim Hortons it's understandable to want to get your money's worth!

...still I can't do this, in to the microwave she goes! Smile

@MattWSpanjer,
I do it pretty much every day.

Start sipping when it's hot ... finish it when it's cold.

@MattWSpanjer,
Well I drink iced coffee almost daily even in below zero degree weather.

But on the rare occassion I drink hot coffee - it is usually a mocha if hot or a shot of liquor as an after dinner drink - it has to be hot - once it cools at all it is yucky.

So either freezing cold as in made to be iced or hot hot - no in between here.

Me too. My mother told me that when she was a girl in the 1930s workmen such as building site labourers, road menders, etc, used to take a corked beer bottle filled with cold tea (no milk) to work with them.

@MattWSpanjer,
A hint - cold tea after hours in china town is beer.

If i have given this offer then i will definitely choose tea because it gives a feeling of freshness and calm to concentrate again in our work.

Both are good in drinking but not good for health. If you are in diet then you must avoid it to drink and take some fruit juice, fruits for good health.

@BruceGarcia,
Actually, Bruce ol' pal, fruit juice is pretty lousy for most people, unless you make it yourself and leave the peel and pulp in. Otherwise, it's the calories and sugar of fruit without the fiber.

Re hot/cold coffee or tea, I'm not fussy.

I do want my first (and pretty much only) cup of coffee of the day to be fresh, just made. I'll drink that down while it's still hot, to inspire me to wake up. I'll poor maybe half a 2nd cup, and usually forget it for awhile, then take a few sips of it cold. If I pour any down the drain, it's because I'm done with coffee for the day, not because it's cold.

Tea, hot, room temperature, iced, it's all good.

Oh, what is important is my coffee is black and not weak, no sweetners or white stuff of any type in my tea or coffee.

Straight up.
