1 in 5 women get raped?

Rape was a common act in times when conquerors invaded another land. Even in WW2 the German authorities asked the Allies generals not to send "black soldiers" to the subjected German cities.

The situation was that Allies troops were taking advantage and were raping women in exchange of food and water. The Germans knew that raping is something that can't be avoided in wars, they just didn't want mixing of race in such an act.

Why women?

From the several cultures, somehow the legendary "first sin" committed by the first two humans, caused that women are "subjected to the husband's desires".

So, for many centuries, women were obedient to fathers and husbands.

On the other side, many men took their position of "men" to make abuses, and taking women for sexual satisfaction was -and still is- a practice without end.

The ironic scenario, is to find out that a poor man raping a woman was a crime, but a king raping a woman was "a favor" from royalty to the poor female. She should have felt "honored" by being raped by a king.

Rape in modern society should have never been admitted, but still happening in many cases by provocation of women on men. Many will argue that rape is not accepted in one way or another, but women will help a lot if they do behave and dress properly in order to avoid rape.

With the parents who work, surely the children are not left home alone unsupervised? What do you mean, the buses don't take the children directly home? Surely there is a parent or guardian or babysitter there to meet the children wherever they are left off?

It sure is different here. With my little one, you have to have number card in your hand when you meet with the child to either pick up at school or stand at the end of driveway or road, get off the bus. Older ones have a list of people allowed to pick up the child, if your name is not on the list, you can't pick up the child, a parent has to be home with the door open so children can get off the bus. I am not sure if children are allowed to walk home anymore, I would have to check that out, but I know I wouldn't allow any of mine to walk home alone.

I admire you daughter's diligence in tracking down the one who sent that disgusting picture. It is an ugly world.

I am sure you would be delighted to find that a sexual partner is a TV but most heterosexual males would be annoy in being trick over the matter.

What does this mean??

First of all, the deceased person was a transgendered female, not a transvestite. This means, that the deceased was actually a male, either undergoing or having undergone surgical (?) procedures to convert himself to a female.

Unclothed, the deceased revealed her true identity.

It means that a lot or even most such internet videos have been found to be phony/hoaxes and so just granting that women walking in New York City would have that amount of comments directed at them is hardly proven by one edited internet video showing that happening to one woman.

So?????? It was a male pretending to be a female and no one that I know of have ever question that fact on this thread.



It is beyond the ability of mankind at this time to convert a male into a fully functioning female at best the results would be a so-so facsimile on the outsides.

If I was lucky enough to bed any of these women I don't think I'd be too put out to find they were born male.

We're talking about teenagers. It's perfectly legal to leave a 14 year old at home alone. Buses stop at bus stops, not people's homes.

The alleged murder of Filipino transgender woman Jennifer Laude by a U.S. Marine has sparked outrage in the Philippines, with some calling into question the U.S. military’s presence in the country.

Under the Visiting Forces Agreement, the U.S. military is allowed to conduct drills in the Philippines. The accord also gives the Philippines the power to prosecute American service members if they fall foul of the law, but they can remain in U.S. custody until the end of judicial proceedings, the Associated Press reports.

Several small protests took place in the country’s capital, Manila, and the city of Olongapo, where the alleged murder took place, and in the former U.S. naval base at Subic Bay free port Saturday, where the suspect Pfc. Joseph Scott Pemberton, is being kept on the U.S.S. Peleliu. He has been summoned by the Olongapo City Prosecutor’s Office to attend a hearing Tuesday.

Protesters have been chanting “U.S. troops out now” and calling for the Visiting Forces Agreement to be abolished.

I am sure they will love becoming a colony of China at least as must of they enjoyed the Empire of Japan rule.

As I said that does not surprise me however no matter how they look they are not females and can never be females at least with the level of technology we have now.

Well, regardless, a parent or guardian should be at the bus stop. Here they stop at people's homes, right at my driveway. It might be legal to leave a child home alone, but I don't think it is too safe unless safeguards are taken. Fourteen is barely a teenager but if he or she is responsible and there are numbers for emergencies then it is safer.

I am not by any means agreeing with those who seem to imply the victim somehow provokes a rapist. I am also not talking about what a person wears as that IMO infringes on a person's individuality. However, like any other crime, people can take steps to do all they can to make themselves or their loved ones safer. For example, it is not the fault of the owner of a bank if his/her bank gets robbed and the person who committed the crime definitely should be held completely responsible and made to pay accordingly. But a responsible bank owner would naturally have a safe and alarm systems in place in an effort to keep that from happening. Well, as parents it is our duty to try and keep our children safe from those who would harm them.

It's called economic necessity, not everybody can afford to live in a house where only one parent works.
