Wasn't Mulholland Drive supposed to be some kind of lesbian fantasy or something?

Trying to solve the puzzle is half the fun. However, I think there will always be a few pieces that don't fit and the picture remains incomplete. There's all sort of fantasizing going on which leads one to wonder what is real and what isn't real. This was picked up by writers as an element in The Sopranos just as one example.

(However, it all does go back to Hitchcock).

John Water's 'Desperate Living' is the most worthless, vile, disgraceful, miserable, tasteless, piece of junk film I've ever seen and probably ever while see.

You know Waters leaves me cold. I think he underachieves and his most famous ones are the worst IMO

GlenGary-GlenRoss bit the big one.

Glengary-Glenross was a truly outstanding script and acted to absolute perfection by a cast of absolute professionals, although I can understand that it's not everybodys cup of tea, but Beethoven didn't compose crap just because not everyone likes his work.

For truly mind numbing tripe watch 2001 a space odyssey, or it's sequel or the badly written comedy Independence day, or Costners The postman where in a post apocalyptic world Costner finds a postmans bag of letters and decides they must be delivered, just like you would in real life.

Pressed for an answer I'd have to say 'Dune', crap!

My next nomination would have to be 'Batman Forever' - so many stars, SO much bad acting!

Ha ha! Bill that is EXACTLY how I feel about Summer Lovers! That scene when he's laying on the beach between them, and you see a shot of both of their beautiful bare asses on either side of his head . . . that is pure movie magic!

I read Gangs of NY. I can see how it'd be tough to develop a script from (edit sp.)that book

The worst I've ever seen? Universal Soldier was pretty bad. Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer was so bad I walked out. But, that prolly was due to content rather than quality.

How about "a bridge too far" or as it is known in britain "a film too long"

even with this talented cast it was a disaster.

Yeah right. I downloaded it for free and I must say, you are no actor. The orphans were convincing though with all that "Please sir, could I have some more" stuff.
