@izzythepush,
You explained nothing about charity and education as the link does not exist except in the minds of leftists who think the people are beholden to the govt instead of the other way around. It has everything to do with politics and you know it, don't be daft. It's ones perception of what the govt is suppose to do instead of what it actually does.

Was it you or Rex who tried to make a link to how the govt is like a business and now someone else from the left is trying to sell education as a charity.

@bobsal u1553115,
Self defense. It is very nice that the cop didn't shoot the man running away in your video. That doesn't mean all cops are ready to risk not going home to their families for some asshole who just robbed a pizza guy .

I did explain it, but you're too stupid to get it. It's a proven historical link.

Quote:
A charity school, also called Blue Coat School, was significant in the history of education in England. It was erected and maintained in various parishes by the voluntary contributions of the inhabitants for teaching poor children to read, write, and other necessary parts of education. It was usually maintained by religious organizations, which provided clothing and education to students freely or at little charge. In most charity schools, children were likewise put out to trades, services, etc., on the same charitable foundation. Some schools were more ambitious than this and sent a few pupils on to university, as depicted in the illustration.

Charity schools began in London, and spread throughout most of the urban areas in England and Wales. By 1710, the account of the charity schools in and around London stood thus: number of schools, 88; boys taught, 2181; girls, 1221; boys put out to apprentices, 967; girls, 407. By the 19th century, English elementary schools were predominantly charity schools

I was commenting on a specific story in which it had already been established that the cops were lying. So I don't know what the hell you're talking about.

I'm reminded of a wise old adage:

@snood,
Know the feeling. I still can't get a straight up answer from you about Black Lives Matter and this guy from England wants to chat about white privilege in America like he knows something. Pigeons of a feather flock together.

I think there needs to be some kind of serious overhaul and perhaps new requirements to even qualify as a police officer. This may have already been posted here, but geez...

Quote:
Baltimore Cop Charged With Attempted Murder For Allegedly Shooting Helpless Man In The Groin

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced on Wednesday that a police officer who shot an unarmed burglary suspect at the end of last year is charged with attempted murder.

Officer Wesley Cagle is one of four officers who confronted a man named Michael Johansen while Johansen was allegedly burglarizing a corner grocery store. Two other officers shot Johansen after they asked him to show his hands and he reached towards his waist instead. According to Mosby, those officers “acted justifiably and appropriately.” Cagle, however, allegedly confronted the unarmed Johansen while the burglary suspect had already been shot and was lying across the entryway to the store. According to Mosby, Cagle stood over Johansen, called him a “piece of ****,” and fired one shot into the burglary suspect’s groin.

Johansen, who survived, faces burglary charges in addition to a charge for theft of less than $1,000. Cagle is charged with attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and second-degree assault.

Prosecutions of cops by local prosecutors, who depend on those cops in much of their day-to-day work, are unusual — although Mosby is known for her decision to file charges in another high-profile case alleging police abuse. Wednesday’s announcement, moreover, was particularly unusual because Mosby announced the charges alongside interim Police Commissioner Kevin Davis, in a show that the police department’s leadership agrees with the decision to charge this officer.

@tony5732,
I do know something, I know you're not used to associating with people who actually know anything, but there's quite a few of us about.

Just muzzle the liberals so they don't whine so loudly when the police bring down a criminal.

@oralloy,
Do you honestly think any action taken by the police justified? Did you even read the circumstances under which a charge has been filed against the police officer?

The other officers had already shot him and the suspect was laying across the entryway of the store when officer Cagle called him a foul word and shot him in the groin.

No. I'm pretty good at tuning out left-wing hysteria.

You usually keep quiet because you don't know nearly enough to challenge the facts that people like me post.

Note: Resorting to childish insults may well be all you are capable of, but it doesn't count as challenging facts.
