@izzythepush,
Quote:So you never had an education courtesy of the government? Your school was probably a lot better than those in some predominantly black neighbourhoods.
Sure I went to public schools, but I lived in and went to school with about a 50% split of whites and minorities, with the majority of the minorities being hispanic. You can look up the stats yourself, the town was Mundelein Il, and it is north of Chicago. I lived there for about 10 years until I was a teenager. Until that point in my life, a majority of my friends were from south of the border. I've already shared this info, but you were too busy looking for "inconsistencies" in my story to actually comprehend what I was saying.
Quote:Where you live makes a difference to your job prospects.
Why do you think I've had so many different jobs and climbed the ladder? I'm not someone who lives where I grew up. I've lived in a few different states here in the US, so I wasn't limited. When I discovered that the only way to make more money was to change jobs, I do that. I've never stuck around and expected an employeer to pay me better. I'll list the cities and states I've lived in. I have had a job in every place I have lived. They didn't pay better then I found one that did.

I'll say it again since you seem to miss things. My dad was a cop for different agencies in the Federal govt and my mother was too lazy to work. I didn't grow up with a silver spoon or all of this privilege you seem to think I had. You are mixing me up with your own self it seems.
Quote:If there is no white privilege, if there really is equality of opportunity, and no institutional racism then what you're saying is that black people must be inherently inferior to whites. Now I'm not calling you a racist, but if you deny white privilege exists then you're giving the racist argument.
Of course that is your take away from what I said, it has to be because being someone who goes against your views I have to be an "ist" of some sort. What does that say about all the poor white people? Are they victims of "white privilege? as well? There are more poor people who are white in this country then there are poor black people. This is why your argument is a farce, and why I don't buy the BS.
I think blacks are in the place they are due to the leftists in the country. Look at how you talk about them. For 40+ years people like you and the other race baiters have told minorities that they can't get by in this world without their help because the white man wants to keep them down. Can you point to a single major city in the US that is run by the Dems and has been for decades were black people have prospered? You can't because it doesn't happen.
