The test is clearly fixed. You need to be American.
I got 10/48, which I don't think is too bad considering I've never even been to the US! I'm going to have another go...
BTW, how old are kids in the 3rd grade?
16/48! I know roughly where most of them are, and get there by trial and error.
Heh, 47/48, but that's only because, when I was auditing and then doing business analyst work, I consulted maps A LOT.
25/48 I kept having to put them in the same spot twice... it kept telling me I was wrong when I would try again it would tell me I am right... I think it is fixed so nobody can win.
I think I know where NY is, but the map is so small compared to the size of the arrow that it kept missing!
yeah see what I mean... also new york is bigger than just the city... you weren't trying to put it on just the city were you?
finally got around to taking it; surprised myself with a 41/48
You Had a Map Didn't You!!!!!
Once you get the easy ones (California, etc.), the others start to fall into place. It's the rectangular ones that get me into trouble; I think I put Colorado where Nebraska is supposed to go.
I got the north east and the west coast south coast... get kinda confused with the middle states
I ran out of time...gonna try again
I think it helps if you've been to most of the states. Florida is all the way South, then Georgia is just above it, and then next to Georgia is Alabama (went auditing in some tiny town in Georgia and we went to Alabama for lunch; that's the only reason why I remember it's next to Georgia, otherwise I'm likely to switch it with Mississippi). I also have problems with Tennessee and Kentucky; I just guessed that Kentucky is the one further North.
Tenn. is the skinny long one.
panzade, me too! I was just kind of meandering along, feeling good about myself, and then I noticed that something turned red. What turned red, hmm... oh, the bar showing how much time I have left! Oh I have no more time!! Eeeeek!
So 25 before it went kablooey. Will try again.
47/48 - never can remember which is Vermont and which is New Hampshire.
Whoo-hoo!!!
48/48.
Delaware and Maryland were tough.
I had actual third-grade flashbacks. Did a report on Kentucky.
Just finished all 50 in time, only cause I was on a band tour of 40 states one time and had to do a lot of map reading and driving. Took me 6 tries to place Montana...lol. What a great site...a lot of fun and educational to boot...thanks a bunch.
