Can't the yanks see that by supporting Israel they're making America a terror target as 'Israel's friend'? Don't they mind?
You are known both by who your friends are and who your enemies happen to be and in regard to Israel we have a hell of a lot to be proud of.

Like when fools attacks us by using terror unlike nations such as Spain who bend to terrorism we go and find and wiped them from the face of the earth.
Mass murderers or would be mass murderers do not decide who we support or do not support in the world.
As a brand new nation we send forces half way around the world to deal with fools who have the idea that they could attacked our shipping and take our sailors.

The drawback for Israel being on America's payroll is that she's not free to defend herslf as she sees fit, but must go asking for America's permission.
For example when Saddam Scudded Israel, Israel wanted to nuke him, but America said "NO!".
And more recently Israel wanted to bomb Iran's nuclear reactors, but America said "NO!" again.
For example when Saddam Scudded Israel, Israel wanted to nuke him, but America said "NO!"
Where do you come up with this nonsense?
Israel have one of the most powerfull nuclear weapons stockpile in the world for many decades and have been in far worst situations then Saddam throwing a few missiles in their direction and never came near to using nuclear weapons.

Israel certainly had guts in the past like when she wiped out Saddams Osirak nuclear reactor with an airstrike in 1981.
She could certainly walk the walk in those days..
"In 2003, Israeli military historian Martin van Creveld, was quoted as saying-
"We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome.
Most European capitals are targets for our air force.
Let me quote General Moshe Dayan- 'Israel must be like a mad dog, too dangerous to bother.'
I consider it all hopeless at this point. We shall have to try to prevent things from coming to that, if at all possible.
Our armed forces, however, are not the thirtieth strongest in the world, but rather the second or third.
We have the capability to take the world down with us.
And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samson_Option

@hingehead,
You could put a few missiles Hamas fired next to each of those victims.
This is not a "war", it is a pogrom in a ghetto, the Gaza ghetto is like the Warsaw ghetto, and
Israelis want a "final solution", having apparently forgotten their own history.
Hell I never knew that the Jews was bombings and killings non-Jews in Europe for decades.
In the charter it says Israel must be destroyed. Death to all Jews comes from Islamics preachers everywhere in the world.

Rockets flying out of Gaza towards Israel.
So in fairness to Israel they've GOT to do something about it haven't they?
I mean, suppose rockets were flying out of Mexico City towards Los Angeles, America would have to do something too..

● What would you do if a foreign country was occupying your land?
● What does it mean that Israeli cabinet ministers deny Palestine’s right to exist?
● What should we make of a prime minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, who as opposition leader in the 1990s was found addressing rallies under a banner reading “Death to Arabs”?

It’s no secret that younger Americans do not rely on the nightly news, cable networks or printed newspapers for information in the way many older people do. The internet has opened access to foreign news media, which often has a different take in Israel, and has opened up a stream of links to to first-hand accounts as well as writing by analysts and activists who offer insights and information wilfully ignored by the Bob Schieffers and Sean Hannitys of the world.
There is evidence of a shift in public opinion, mostly generational: a Pew poll this month showed falling support for Israel among younger Americans. Over 65s backed the Jewish state by 60% to just 9% support for the Palestinians. Among young adults, aged 18-29, just 44% were behind Israel with backing for the Palestinians rising to 22%.
As opinion shifts, it will be harder to go on presenting just one side of the story.
The French government is considering banning a radical Jewish group which has been blamed for deepening tensions in France during the conflict in Gaza.
The interior ministry said that it was “analysing” its legal options against the Ligue de Défense Juive, which has been accused of provoking pro-Palestinain demonstrators in the Paris area in recent days.
The LDJ, thought to have around 250 members in their early 20s, is a French off-shoot of the American Jewish Defence League, which was placed on the FBI list of terrorist groups 13 years ago. Its website proclaims that it “rejects the myth of the existence of a Palestinian people”.
... ... ...
So, of course, France doesn't want Jews to defend themselves.

Hamas Executes 20 Palestinians Who Attended Anti-War Protest For Being “Israeli Collaborators”
Think any were children? Children can be executed, Islam permits it.
Quote:
Channel 10 reports that 20 Palestinians who participated in an anti-war protest in the Gaza Strip were rounded up by Hamas and summarily executed as alleged Israeli collaborators yesterday.
Reports yesterday indicated that 30 suspected collaborators have been executed by Hamas thus far, but it isn’t clear whether that figure included the 20 anti-war protesters.
