Had a gun shoved in my face tonight. I work at a liquor store as a second job to help supplement my income. Wasn't even supposed to work tonight, but I agreed to. An hour in to my shift the robbery happened. I'm sorry but they don't pay me enough to take a bullet. I'm just glad no one got hurt, but the guy got away with a lot of money and booze. I'm still processing it in my mind. Never had something like that happen before. Not making a statement one way or the other in regards to the gun issue, but this thread seemed like the place to tell people what happened.

Planning on posting on other threads the responses I've been too busy to later tonight. Got a lot on my mind...

It was a handgun. I don't know a lot about guns. Looked like one where the clip loads in the handle, but I'm not sure. I didn't have a chamber like a Dirty Harry gun (Magnum? Revolver?) Not sure if I'm using the right terminology. I tried my best to describe it to the police. It was small. The barrel wasn't that big.

If the magazine loads into the handle,
then its an automatic, not a revolver.

Did u notice its caliber ?
Was it dark or silver colored ?

Did u ask him what bullet configuration he was using ?
Wadcutter or hollowpoint? Fully jacketed ?

Did u get a good look at the perpetrator ?

It was a dark colored gun.

I didn't ask the guy any questions. It was scary. The guy was really calm, didn't yell at me, but he calmly told me he was going to blow my brains out if I fucked with him. Pointed the gun at me. I got a really good look at him. I actually carded him when he came up, so I saw his ID. I'm mad at myself though because I never pay attention to the names on IDs, only the birth date.

White guy, but looked almost a little bit hispanic. Dark hair, dark eyes, Born in 1983.

Did it have his picture on it?
Did the police have u look at mug books ?
Have u conferred with the owner about the event?

Does the store have security cameras ?

We got him on video, but the video isn't very good. I spent a lot of time with the police. I'm pretty sure the video was on the news tonight. The owner was gone tonight. She's a good friend of mine though. We talked, getting together tomorrow.
