I have a secret, genius level, ability to accessorize...

My wife and daughter both come to me asking what goes with what for occasions. It's really weird and it's not something that I publicize but I am very good at it. My daughter asked me about it today and I had no explanation as to why.

I can whistle tunes very loudly by using two fingers on each side of my tongue. My mom taught m how to do this. Its come in handy many many times.

I have never owned a watch. I rarely look at the clock on the stove.
Perhaps, I have mused, I have never really been into time.
Oddly, though, I pretty much know approximately what time it is.

I often estimate time and I am usually within a few minutes on it, though I can screw up in what I take is middle of the night mid-waking. Usually not.
Some kind of weird time sense.

Only two of the dogs are mine.

The three large ones live with my best friend (an occasional poster here) and her family on their century farm.

All of our dogs are rescues. My friend's newest rescues are the Great Dane and her bonded friend, the golden retriever.

The lovely rug the big dogs are sprawling on came from hamburgboy's home when he downsized.

I am losing it in my old age but I have always been able to time cook with intuition, as in everybody else sets a timer but I can trust that I will look in the oven at the exact time the food is ready.

True. I didn't know that.

Me... I've met quite a few a2k people in real life. They've never seen me with nail polish. I stopped that when... I stopped it when I took up drawing and painting classes after work, and kept up with all that post the classes, and later added a lot of gardening on top of it, and later, remodeling, while continuing painting and gardening (and work). I still have nail polish that I bought with intent. It's on my curio shelving. That's an art piece, the shelving, by a friend who is a bronze sculptor.
