Today is a night off. They're scheduled to play 3 games in St. Louis, and if the Sox don't clinch the series there, games 6 and 7 are back in Fenway this weekend.

I wish I could take myself to a game. But $2K+ for a ticket is insane.

It would great if the Bosox can win before Shilling has to pitch again. I get the feeling that ankle may be hanging by a thread if he has to go out there again...

dunno if its true or not; there should be articles to back it up, but haven't seen any yet...

You may be right (unfortunately D'atragnan). What I have read is that the surgical procedure to stitch together Schilling's injured ankle might be too damaging to keep repeating. The stitches the second time caused Schilling much more pain so he was been treated with painkillers and antibiotics to fight infection.

Dang, woman! Where have you been? My baby went bye-bye back in February, and I got a bike in June.

The stranger wore his Yankee ball cap low over his eyes so the smoke from his tiparillo had to fight to get by the brim. He was quiet, but he carried a big stick...
In a low voice full of menace he rasped: "He's no Randy Johnson"

Despite his one good post season with the D'Backs, RJ has been a complete choke job. Kicky and all Yankee fans will agree that the last thing that bunch of chokers need, is another choker.
