They seriously need to get their asses back in gear...however, I'm one of the minority who's not giving up on Nomah. So many negative people in Boston.
I, too, think this is no place for gay-bashing (of course, I do not think there is any place where that kind of behavior is appropriate).
Having said that, I would like to add that I love Nomar - he is the best !
Oh, and .... Yankees suck. Always have. Always will.
Puleeeez! Year after year you outspend everyone and then are dumb enough to think you actually deserve to win !
Baseball needs a cap (no pun intended).
Period. End of discussion.
22 - 0
hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Steinbrenner may just blow an artery or two tonight.
The lead is down to 3 in the loss column.
They got a slightly better chance of crawling all the way back than my 'Stros do...
Sox Rule
22-0 wow yanks you really out did yourselves
anyway one thing that most people in the sports industry tend to agree on is that red sox fans are some of the most knowledgeable fans of all the fans in the world. when they make a point they can back it up to the tee.
on another thread i wrote:nomah who??
if they continue to get quality starts from lowe, wakefield & arroyo, they should take the division...
yanks pitching is in ashambles. trade deadline has past.
now the yanks get to battle those west teams for the wild card too...
Don't say that too quick....the Red Sox have a very tough stretch right now. Not to sound pessimistic, but winning streaks can turn in a blink of an eye. There's still a month left.
It would be sweet to take 1st over the Spankees.
At least they're pullin away in the wild card race. Overtaking the Tankees is a little more dubious.
My Marlins are making a brave run but they're really missing Ivan
Anyone heard anything from Whinebrenner yet ?
red sox are red hot!
they've won 8 in a row, 14 outta 15, and are averaging 7 runs per game...
Steinbrenner is so nauseating, a fool with a lot of money and an ego the size of a small country
The Sox are definitely on fire, but we've all been down this path before. And Grady Little is still out there somewhere. He could still somehow re-appear and find a way to screw up THIS year's chances.
isn't little a scout for the cubs this year?
I think he is. However, angie may be right. I have a feeling the ghost of Grady is actually on the Red Sox, in the form of our third base coach, Dale "wave 'em all home" Sveum.
Gawd, you guys' be bitchin if you were leading the East by 7 games....Oh I forgot...that still wouldn't guarantee the East crown
pedro pitched a gem against texas 2nite: 4-hit, 10K shutout for 7 innings.
sox (10 straight W's) are a measly 2 1/2 games behind the rankees...
Then I saw first placeeee
Now I'm a believer....
If we really want to have a chance to win, we have to get Grady Little out of the country until November.
This sure does feel good.
Well guys, this is it.
This is THE weekend !!!!
