And for the Yankees? Torre wasn't saying right after the game, but it's gotta be Mussina, right?

I just looked on SI.com and they list the probables as Wakefield and Brown. That doesn't seem right.

Yeah right, as long as they win everything all the time. The minute things get a bit challenging, their true trashy nature comes out.

Child of the Light: I'm not sure what you meant with the "obvious homosexuality" comment. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you did not mean in a derogatory manner. BTW, homosexuals can be VERY sexy, so your comment was, at the very least, illogical.

Having said that, and lest anyone think I meant to defend Arod, I think he is a jerk and a punk. What he did last night was classless and stupid. And arrogant, to do it in such an obvious manner and think he could get away with it.

Jerk.

Region, thanks for the pictures! Even though I was only listening to the game, not watching it, that is pretty much how I pictured everything happening. Tonight, I'll find a TV!

I watched the game at my pub (sound off). Great win for the Red Sox! Everyone was cheering for them, except for one dude wearing an NYY cap. Interesting that so few people like NYY here...

Anyhow, how great was it that the two wrong calls (no homer and A-Rod safe at first) were reversed!

Of course, Boston HAS GOT to win tonight. Otherwise, I can imagine the BS that will be said and written about the curse continuing...

Productivity in Boston and New York must be at an all-time low today.

Sox in 7.

I watched the game and I saw Francona, but there was nothing definitive about what he said.

they'll prolly use everyone tonight, so don't expect lowe to go more than 3... wakefield's doubtful -- varitek can't catch it, and they can't afford to lose his bat, or his smarts... has anyone seen pedro since he got yanked on monday? haven't seen the midget, or the red fungo bat, or the shaking of the jeri curls or anything...

Right after the game(not the press conference) they quickly asked Francona a few questions, and he did say it wasn't definite, but would probably be Lowe.
