American women have the right to terminate a pregnancy but the people of [country] don't have the right to elect the people they want to govern them.

Can we say HYPOCRISY? Can you spell HYPOCRISY?

How about you, Rockhead?

@bobsal u1553115,
Here's the thing bob, I shouldn't have to go to a govt backed system because that very system caused my rates to go up. That's the BS of the ACA.

@parados,
I went and looked today, and the plans on my state exchange are not close to what I have with my employer. To get a close plan, the cost is about $1400 and then there is the question of whether I qualify for subsidies under the ACA due to my work offering insurance.

As I explained to bob. I shouldn't have to look at the exchanges for insurance. Prior to the ACA my costs were cheaper. It is the ACA which has caused my costs to go up.

House Republicans to Delay Obamacare Replacement Rollout
Source: Bloomberg

House Republicans are delaying the rollout of their alternative proposal to Obamacare, according to lawmakers and aides involved in the process.

The issue is one of “policy, trying to get it all together,” House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy said when asked why a planned April unveiling was being pushed back.

The Republicans had said they would release the outlines of their proposal to replace President Barack Obama’s 2010 health-care law over the two-week congressional break later this month at town-hall meetings with constituents.

Instead, a Republican leadership aide said the rollout will occur at an unspecified time later this year. Republican leaders are set to meet this week to discuss their plans, McCarthy and Conference Chairman Cathy McMorris Rodgers said.

In fairness, they've only had five years to "get it all together".

Yep, roughly the same time Obama has been lying to Americans about the consequences of the law.

@Baldimo,
So the plan actually costs less on the exchange. $1400 vs the $1900 you and your employer are paying.

Good ******* Luck With That
Hey Republicans,

You want to run a campaign this year on

1. Fighting against the minimum wage or even worse, repealing the minimum wage all together?
2. Fighting against equal pay and equal rights for Women in the work force?
3. Fighting against equal access to health care for all, or even worse, taking healthcare away from more than 10 million Americans who couldn't get or afford it before?
4. Fighting against equal rights for all, especially against anti-discrimination laws?
5. Fighting against reproductive rights of most of America, especially the younger generations who rely on birth control?

All I gotta say is good ******* luck with that. Good. *******. Luck. 'Cause if that's your plan, I have a pretty good feeling about this year. Yeah.

Guess what? What Democrats say the Republicans are running on are Democratic talking points. You no longer can set all the narratives after Obamas failures.

Obamacare, the economy, and the fact that Dems really can't handout much more than they already have will get them out of government and out of our pockets. Plus the scandals could come to a head any day. These things can't be covered up forever.

And do not forget that Republicans can hammer home that Obama is a liar. A proven fact, not a talking point. And Dems who support a liar are going to lose.

I feel good too, unless that isn't allowed by the NaZi left.http://www.acidpulse.net/images/smilies/rofl1.gif

Looks like Democrats say the Republicans don't want to talk about jobs or the miserable recovery. The Republicans will be sure to bring that up, constantly.

It is clear Obama thinks his supporters are so stupid they can't remember from one day to the next. Or he is so addicted to lying he needs an intervention.

Senate GOP Not Sweating Democratic Pay Equity Push

Quote:
“I think the Democrats are doing anything they can to try to change the subject from the nightmare of Obamacare and the joblessness that we experience in our country right now,” said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.

Anyone can see that. Republicans will have no problem getting that message across.

@parados,
You ignored the rest of the post. I won't qualify for subsidies because I have work place insurance, and I make too much money. It isn't cheaper, and it isn't better insurance.

@Baldimo,
You are getting a subsidy from your employer. If your employer paid you $1400 for insurance and you went to the exchange your out of pocket cost would probably be less.

@parados,
I don't get that money if I don't get the insurance from work, that not how it works.

@Baldimo,
The money is clearly going to pay for insurance so if you want to compare the cost of insurance you have to compare the cost of insurance to the cost of insurance not part of the cost vs the entire cost.

@parados,
You have to compare what I would be paying out of pocket. With no subsidies from the govt for the ACA insurance, you would see my costs more than double to pay for it.

@Baldimo,
So your argument is what? That it would cost more for insurance if you had to pay for it instead of someone else paying for it? That has nothing to do with the ACA and is not caused by the ACA.
