@blueveinedthrobber,

Linus is obviously the more sympathetic character, but IMHO more people can identify with Lucy.

@chai2,
Yeah, I have a firm grip upon the obvious.
With whom do you best identify?

I like that Linus isn't put off by Lucy's hypocrisy.

There's something rather pathetic about people who imagine a god who is more interested in where i put my weenie than in anything else.

I think I might be a pretty good god, because I don't even want to think about where Set puts his weenie.

Does anyone know where I can put in an application for the position?

This particular set of "believers" probably still use this term. That or pee-pee.

When I come across the people who argue for a return to Christian principles but who don't want to feed or shelter the truly poor, visit and comfort prisoners who are seeking redemption, pay taxes without complaining, show love and mercy freely, avoid violence, be gracious to foreigners, and seek to end injustice, but who want to gay marriage...I'll join you in ridiculing them.

I'm probably no more of an expert on Christian principles then the person who prepared the cartoon you provided but I just don't believe it is widely agreed by practising Christians that their "biblical Christian principles" tell them they have to:

Feed and shelter lazy people simply because they claim to be poor
Pay taxes without complaining
Never engage in violence
Seek to end "social injustice" throughout the world.

But it's always great fun to turn the people with whom you disagree and dislike into cartoonish figures worthy of ridicule.

Finn what is the medical designation of people like yourself who cannot control their urges to piss on absolutely everything they see?

You haven't read the Bible much, have you Finn? If you would like, I can give you a biblical reference of Jesus saying any one of these.
