Please do give me the references.

We've already discussed, I believe, that the interpretation of "Render unto Caesar..." is by no means widely accepted as signifying "Pay your taxes without complaining, so I'm interested in how else you've interpreted the Gospels to suit your politics.

What a cynic I am suggesting that there is some fraud as respects entitlement programs.

No, you did a lot more than just "suggest" this. Your o.p. clearly implies that you think that all recipients of government largesse are just lazy bums pretending to be poor. This may well be true in an extremely limited number of cases. It is hardly the norm which you suggest that it is.

There are many who work full time jobs, keep house, raise children and still require government help. Not all receiving assistance are lazy. It's particularly difficult for low income single parents.

No it doesn't. You're mistaking bias for clarity.

My comment was that Christians don't believe it is one of their principles to provide for the lazy who claim to be poor. You've taken that extra step to assert that I believe all people on relief are lazy fakers.

Funny though that you don't find it a problem that this cartoon is grossly generalizing about a group of people.
