Aw, c'mon. They can't defend Bush and they can't go after Marijuana, b/c they know it isn't really bad and they know he is. What do you expect them to say?

I wouldn't exactly say that it's not bad. As a former abuser of the substance, I know that it's not completely "safe", but no drug is. But I can't see a problem with controlled medicinal use.

I agree with Wilso; if patients can benefit with some hash-hesh, and controlled by a doctor, it should be de-creminalized.

Mikey, I guess that attacking criminalization on the basis of cost to our society is the best way to proceed. This might sink in better with the public.

I just saw a documentary on our bulging and horrific prisons, which turn out more hardened criminals. They are full of people arrested for low-level drug involvement. The cost to society for this is monumental.
