Ah Hah...I was only looking at the quote - I should have looked further back to the 'man up'. I don't know that I find it hilarious, but it is amusing.

It's just a word play...not particularly funny, more just a little amusing.

I don't discriminate (between male or female) who I say 'man up' to...'man up' technically should be used discriminatoringly.
