Should I learn to dance?

OK, it was suggested to me that I should take a break from the so far disastrous on-line dating service and do something else to meet people. As luck would have it there's a group in this area that runs all sorts of courses-everything from astronomy to wine tasting. So should I do a ballroom dancing class (8 of them) for $74 (total cost)?

Dancing is a wonderful tensional outlet. Even if you didn't meet anyone there, there are so many other advantages to dancing, that I think that it is a great idea for you. Enjoy! Very Happy

Yes, definitely try it out. The wife and I did that once, and it was great fun. Not only that, if I had been single, I would have been all over the instructor like flies on s**t. Laughing

Yes I believe there is a cosmic dance for everyone. If your swaying ,or even tapping your foot you are extending that musicand yourself how wonderfull.Whatever it takes maybe a trip to the carribean would help things swaying.

Oh, dancing is fun! You may very well meet someone there.

And, if you don't, you're still left with a skill that a lot of guys don't have, a different way to exercise and possibly a more graceful method of interacting, walking, etc.

Don't fall for it, Wilso. Like meeting a chick in a bar, and what do you know about her? She hangs out in bars!

Meet someone at a dance, and believe me, she will expect you to take her dancing for the rest of her natural life.

DON'T GO THERE

My experience is that most women love to dance anyway. And I can't do it.

My husband won't dance. He claims that there is a cold solder joint in his brain......the part that coordinates the feet. I don't dance well, but I don't care. I just fake it, and have a great time doing it!

That's it, Wilso. Just throw in the towel. If you can't beat 'em, join them.

Wilso, if you're looking to meet women all you had to do was ask. Tractor Pulls, Monster Truck Rallies, Turkey-Calling Contests, and many more.

Want me to hook you up?

Ya' forgot the hog calling contest, Gus, but I suppose that's pretty much included in the Monster truck Rallies, right?

I can't dance at all Wilso, but learned early on; 90% of women will appreciate the effort... providing you don't look to stupid. (just don't try to move too much  )

I know one couple who met at a ballroom dancing class and later got married. The advantage, you would think there would be more women than men in the class. I also took a wine tasting class. I would highly suggest for men. There were only women in the class. The added bonus, if you feel the class s*cks, you can get drunk and you won't care.

Wilso--

Linkat has a valid point. There will be many, many more women than men. You'll get your ego well stroked.
