Why would guys keep saying a females name?

Where does this dumb word come from? I keep seeing it. Is it a US thing?

I believe it started as text speak but has now become a real word. conversation is long and boring, convo is short and hip.

It sounds like one of those words where I start off hating it and end up using it (usually over about 1 week)

Yes that is never to say lets go here Mick. So I don't get what if she said it in every sentence? You guys drifted because something was definately wrong.wonder whet was the reason she'd never said your name.

So is totally bad though? How would that be lacking confidence?
