As usual I'm watching the game on the live cast thing on SI.com. I'm sort of used to it, no humans visible, but I can follow the game and I don't have to hear the commentators never shutting up - which happened the last time I watched football on a tv, a really good tv. Very noisome. Anyway, the chat room for the site is a mix of nincompoops and the occasional astute poster and that's all boring, so I also read, of all things, the Guardian's play by play. Or sort of play by play. Always interests me, their takes on football and tennis; also, pretty good english used.

With my computer, they're always some minutes behind the happenings, but it may just be the mac.

@ossobuco,
Dawson awesome, but good effort all around. I was torn throughout as I'm keen on the Packers too.

@ossobuco,
I think you meant Dalton..the QB.

What a football lover's paradise these last 2 days have been. My g/f's reaction is that no playoff game can compare with the level of excitement and unpredictability of that first game yesterday...Indy and Chiefs what a insanity. Loved it!

@Ragman,
Snort, no, I didn't mean Dalton. SF has a pretty good kicker (you probably know that). Oops, just saw your post re Dawson.

I loved both the Colts and Chiefs games, and GB and SF, but the first more. Interesting, to me, since I like all four teams quite well, that I wanted my picks to win, but not by very much, and that's what happened.

I think I'm going to be ornery and pick differently, since I expect most of us think the picks so far will be right. Not yet, because I have to work up my courage of conviction.
