"U.S. warplanes firing rockets destroyed four houses in Fallujah after nightfall Tuesday, witnesses said. A doctor said 26 Iraqis, including women and children, were killed and 30 wounded in the strike. The deaths brought to 34 the number of Iraqis killed in Fallujah on Tuesday." AOL News

The Right Wing and the Military will call it colateral damage.

I call it murder!!!

Hmmm.... lets see... the insurgents take up arms.

The insurgents move into houses occupied by civilians and begin firing at American troops...

The American troops fire back...

The insurgents die along with other people who didn't flee the building when the idiots er ... insurgents began using their location as a free fire zone...

Sure sounds like murder to me. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Pistoff, take off your Anti-American goggles off long enough to place blame where it belongs....

The idiots who started firing from civilian occupied buildings in the first place.

Iraqi women and children are the easiest targets.

Little wonder anti-American rage is growing and festering to epidemic proportions.

Why can't the Bush loyalists comprehend their anger? Are they lost in the old Manifest Destiny thingy?

Titus, when you are taking fire from buildings, you are thinking about your survival when you fire back.

The problem is that you anti-American ultra-libs seem to believe that the Americans fired into these buildings without provocation...

no... I will spell this out for you in very sim ple words so you can un der stand.

THEY WERE BEING SHOT AT, THEY RETURNED FIRE, THE BAD GUYS DIED.

The fact that some civilians in the building died (still unconfirmed by the way) is tragic, but if I am in a building and someone started firing from it, I would beet feet out of there so fast, I would be just a blur.

This must be what Pete was talking about.

Titus seems to think women and children are being targeted, and they aren't.

Titus, either you are being deliberately obtuse or you really are that ignorant.

So let me spell this out even simpler.

The Bad Guys are the insurgents that decided to take their weapons and fire at American Troops from inside civilian occupied buildings.

When I said the Bad Guys died, I was talking about the idiots who decided to take on Apaches and M1A2s with AK-47s and came out on the short end of that engagement.

These buildings were NOT fired at because they were just sitting there

Fire was taken from these buildings BEFORE they were fired upon.

All the casualties were NOT civilians.

Why is it people like you always believe the worst of any situation.

"Oh, there are casualties, they must ALL be civilians and were fired upon without provocation" Rolling Eyes

I sometimes wonder what color the sky is in the sad world you live in

fedral/BULLprag:

I'll break it down even more simply for you.

From the latest Pew Research Poll

Four in 10, or 40 percent, approve of the way Bush is handling Iraq, while 53 percent disapprove. That's down from six in 10 who approved in mid-January, according to the poll by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press.

Bush's overall job approval is at 43 percent, a low point for his presidency, down from 56 percent in mid-January. In the new poll, 47 percent disapproved of Bush's job performance. Bush's job approval soared to 90 percent after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and remained in the 70s for almost a year after that.

Your hero is in deep bandini.

So he's targeting women and children in Iraq to bolster his numbers? Confused

It's awful hard to keep up with what you are trying to say sometimes.

They can't do that until ordered to Titus, it's called desertion.

So until they DO come home, what is your solution right NOW when they are fired at ?

Sit there and get shot? Or return fire?

Let's see how typical Liberal thinking goes:

Soldiers are fired on and do not return fire. They are then killed by unreturned incoming fire along with some Iraqi civilians.

Liberals reaction: OMG look at all the Americans that are dying, we need to pull our troops out and bring them home before we get bogged down in another quagmire like Vietnam (did you hear that our candidate served there.) And think of all the Iraqi's that are dying!

Soldiers are fired on and do return fire. The insurgents that fired on the Americans are killed along with some Iraqi civilians.

Liberals reaction: OMG look at all the people dead and buildings destroyed, we need to pull our troops out and bring them home before we get bogged down in another quagmire like Vietnam (did you hear that our candidate served there.) The Iraqi's were better off under Saddam, at least he disposed of the hundreds of thousands that he killed neatly.

Liberals ... can't win either way...

It's not too surprising to hear of Fedayeen using women and children as human shields. They did it during major combat operations too. It is a despicable practice that is bound to get innocents slaughtered. If the women and children tried to run away, the Fedayeen would probably shoot them in the back anyway. So either way you look at it they were dead the minute they were taken captive.

That's one possible scenario anyway.

Only the ppl who have been in a war on active duty will actullt know the restrictions that soldiers have to adhear to. If all the restrictions were off this war could have been over with in a few months. But because we operate with great regard for all human life alot of Americans are being lost.
Anybody who thinks otherwise has never been there. I have been to several actions in my carear and it would have easier to shoot everything but thats not what Americans do. Until you have been there you should remain quite to what you are ignorant of.

Yes a 500 pounder can be accurate. Just as accurate as a 747 jetliner.

That did wonders in Mogadishu, it is always good to show the world that by killing Americans that they will go away. Kill some Rangers, Army goes away, kill 3,000+ Americans, and see what we can get.

Is it not well documented that kids can and do fire at US troops? You don't believe it in Iraq? How about in Somalia? Why is it so hard to believe that troops that have raped, and tortured would hide behind women and children?

Whether or not Kerry earned his medals is a subjective matter of opinion. But I have done my research. This is why I said that your stories are usually verifiably tall tales.

By this I do not mean I merely suspect you are frequently lying but that I have verified this to be the case many times.
