@Miller,
As a matter of fact, it's been of interest and study for over 30 years now.

__________

So, when did Mr. Zimmerman suffer that possible subdural haematoma?

From what I understand, Martin was on top of him and still beating him when Zimmerman finally saved himself.

Zimmerman was lucky. People on Angel Dust can do a lot of damage with their fists.

@Miller,

Some hematomas don't elict signs of their presence for some time....

By almost a year and a half after the trauma, the symptoms of a subdural hemotoma, even a chronic subdural hematoma, would have presented in someone Zimmerman's age...
Quote:
A subdural haematoma may be:

•Acute - where the blood collects quickly after a head injury; symptoms can occur immediately or within hours.

•Subacute - where symptoms develop between 3-7 days after the injury.

•Chronic - the blood collects slowly after a head injury; symptoms can occur 2-3 weeks after the initial injury. In some people it may be months after the injury...

If there was any real concern about a subdural hematoma, or any other lasting brain injury, you would have heard a neurologist testify for the defense--one who had actually evaluated Zimmerman. Notice, the defense never put such an expert on the stand. And Zimmerman never sought an MRI or a CT-Scan, so he obviously wasn't concerned about it.

Was Zimmerman on angel dust?

They failed to do a toxicology test on him after the shooting...we don't know what was in his system.

Maybe you need to take another look at the photos.

These were taken the night of the shooting....

Where do you see evidence of a "beating"? Zimmerman doesn't even need a bandaid--he just needs the streaks of dried blood, from the two tiny scrapes on the back of his head, wiped off. No swellings, no bruisings, no signs of any serious injury. no signs of having been "beaten" or punched up.

Martin never got in more than one punch--and that one was likely defensive--before Zimmerman shot him.

According to Zimmerman, he was attacked. He saved himself with his gun. If so, he had every right to do what he did.

@Brandon9000,
The pictures I posted were the official police photos taken that night after the blood was wiped off his face.

Notice that the photo you posted, with the blood, also inaccurately distorts the shape of Zimmerman's nose. In the photos taken right after that, by the police, notice that his nose is straight, and not swollen.

He also told his own lawyer and the judge that he was indigent, so he'd get a lower bail, when he actually had $138,000 cash in his legal defense fund. He had his wife transfer those assets between accounts in order to conceal the money from his lawyer and the court. He also concealed the existence of a second passport from the court.

Zimmerman is a brazen liar...

BTW, Shellie Zimmerman's perjury trial is coming up next month.

@BillRM,
you put a hell of a lot of twisty words in my mouth, billy.

why don't you stick to arguing your own side...

I said fearful gun supporters. I don't think that phrase is that difficult to understand. unless you need to give it a different meaning for your argument to float.

this kind of arguing is what you cry about when firefly does it to you.

Trayvon was the one with the history of doing Angel Dust, and was the one who was carrying a number of key ingredients for the illicit manufacture of Angel Dust when the confrontation ensued.

Can you imagine how bad it could have been if Zimmerman hadn't noticed that Trayvon was up to no good?

Trayvon would have gone back home and gotten strung out on a new batch of Angel Dust, then headed out to break into the homes he had just cased. And woe to any families who had happened to be home when Trayvon broke into their house.

Talk about an averted disaster....

@oralloy,
The police determined that Trayvon Martin was not involved in any criminal or illegal activity that night.

Are these the sort of fantasies about black males that you need to generate in order to keep reassuring yourself you need your gun?

So, what, now you're saying that a photo taken at the scene has been doctored? Maybe the red stuff on his face was ketchup? He says he was being beaten. If so, he had every right in the world to use a gun to save himself. Every creature has the right to try to preserve its existence.

@Brandon9000,
minor scalp abrasions.

not a brutal beating.

have you ever been in a fight, Brandon?

I'll ignore the typical liberal attempt to involve me personally in the debate. If he was under physical attack, and he says that he was, then he had every right in the world to save himself with the gun.

@Brandon9000,
not if he started the fight...

then it's only legal in Florida.

if your victim can't speak up...

If he started the fight, and later during the fight, he was in serious danger of death or being maimed, then he would still have the right to use the gun to save himself, but he would then bear criminal responsibility for initiating the fight. In fact, he would bear criminal responsibility in every state. However, his story is that he didn't start the fight. If you have some evidence that he did, show it.

@Brandon9000,
and as long as his victim died before he could speak, George gets to tell the only story.

except George likes to lie about things.

If you have some evidence that Zimmerman started the fight, you need to turn it over to the authorities. Even though he can't be tried again, it would be invaluable as the basis of a civil suit.
