A Thought About the Zimmerman Trial.

Reply Tue 2 Jul, 2013 03:11 pm

Lots of talk about who was doing all that screaming of “help” during the altercation.

I’ve listened to that tape a couple of times…and I notice something strange about it. The yelling seems out-of-whack in some way. The timing between the yelling and the shot seems off base.

I think the prosecution has it wrong. I do not think it was Trayvon Martin yelling for help…I think it was George Zimmerman. I think he may well already have had his gun in hand…and was setting up his defense. I think he may well have been yelling to justify the shooting.

No way to know for certain. Just a bit of idle speculation.

What do you think?

@Frank Apisa,
Zimmerman is not smart enough to have thought of that...

I cross posted this in my other forum...and this is almost the identical first response I got there.

I am thinking Zimmerman might have had the gun out during the entire encounter. He doesn't seem like a particularly courageous man to me. If he did have it out...this might have popped into his mind.

@Frank Apisa,
I'll tell ya what I'd do if I was his defense attorney and it was shown that it was, in fact, Zimmerman yelling. I'd claim my client was trying to summon other Neighborhood Watch people to help him so he wouldn't have to shoot, that he fired the pistol only as a very last resort.

@Lustig Andrei,
He already said he was doing that wrt a neighbor who appeared at a doorway.

Those who are watching, a question. Does the judge appear to have it under control? IS she/or is she NOT playing to the cameras Like at the OJ trial?

@Lustig Andrei,
No I meant that as a question cause Im really not watching, Im reading about it and there are two definite sides of thise story. If you read the other thread its like two different stories are being presented with all the facts at hand.

If he DID,
then there 'd be very little chance
that decedent wud have hung around
to beat Zimmy 's head against the street.

He 'd have fled.

Note that decedent was not shot in the back.

@OmSigDAVID,
A mere 60 years. What's that against eternity? Surely your memory goes back 60 years and more.
