@RABEL222,
No. What I'm saying is, you accused him of providing intelligence secrets to the Chinese and Russians. What proof do you have that he did so?

Quote:
Official: Snowden did not get 'crown jewels'
By Barbara Starr

U.S. intelligence now believes Edward Snowden did not gain access to the "crown jewels" of National Security Agency programs that secretly intercept and monitor conversations around the world, CNN has learned.

The Obama administration is reviewing what the admitted leaker of classified information actually got his hands on and what damage he may have caused.

The ongoing damage assessment indicates he did not gain access to what is called ECI or "extremely compartmentalized information," according to a U.S. official familiar with the review.

All most of us know for sure is that his revelation was based on the US government breaking our rights to privacy in accordance with our Constitution.

I want to know what secrets he shared that puts the US and its citizens in danger.

I do not presume innocence or guilt until I have reliable information of what you have accused him of.

@cicerone imposter,
The fact Russia and China protected him. Neither country does this for nothing.

@RABEL222,
Nope. I am saying that the primary offense for which Frank and others want to punish Snowden is simply to have embarassed Americans, to have hurt their national pride, by fleeing to Russia. Just like good Soviet patriots were pissed off when some dissident or another fled the USSR for the West. It made them and their country look bad.

@cicerone imposter,
The same proof you have that he did not. My opinion. I cant see either country protecting him without some reward.

Most posters here know what it is about. Your pride.

Don't ever go public on up being down for ****'s sake. Don't commit yourself on anything as controversial as that.

Where does this dreadful fear of humiliation come from? Too much Mommy love is my explanation but I can see that it might as easily be a very low intelligence.

You are jumping to conclusions without factual evidence.

@Olivier5,
I see. If someone hacked your information and spread it all over the internet, published it in the papers, this would be OK with you? Even if what was hacked was illegal?

Do you make this garbage up by yourself...or do you have help?

I've said that I want him to get a fair trial for charges that have been brought against him.

What do you have against giving him a fair trial?

@cicerone imposter,
As are most of the posters here. No one knows what he passed on and the intellegance agencies sure as hell arnt going to admit that he got something vital because it would make them look even more stupid than it already has.
So what we have are a bunch of lairs lying to a bunch of lairs who----. Well you get the idea. Who do you trust? All the participants are lawbreakers.

@Frank Apisa,
And your fraught emotional flounce off A2K for a number of years proved you are not a kidder. And at the hands of atheists too. Who are all little cuddly pussies underneath.

What brought you back?

@RABEL222,
Sometimes you need a thief to catch a thief. That's why there are legislations in some countries protecting whistle blowers from frivolous suits from their institution or company, saying 'he stole corporate information'.

Oh, Spendius...I also kid. Really.

I'm kinda playing a bit of kidding with you right now.

And I appreciate you being my straight man!

You are darn good at it. Wink

The New York Times is reporting that Snowden has assured them that he gave no secrets or secret documents to the Chinese or the Russians.

He knew how to fool the Chinese...and he took no documents to Moscow when he went there.

He says the Times can trust him on that.

@Frank Apisa,
You're MYOEPs again.

Thus granting permission for everybody else to do the same. It really is feeble you know. It's dreadfully wimpy. As if you are giving yourself a comforting cuddle., I do hope it is satisfying.

@spendius,
BTW--you didn't answer the question about what brought you back to A2K. There must have been a reason. Doing things for no reason is irrational.

You certainly should know about irrational, Spendius.
