HEATED?? "very heated"????
From that, I dissent.
I 'm in fine and merry spirits; I feel cheerful.
I 'm not mad at u in the least, nor was I.
Neither of us has been impolite (tho I deemed it odd
that u had me do that search). I 'm not even annoyed.

R u "very heated"????????

Perhaps a bad choice of words...but by "heated" I meant we were both pursuing our take on the issue with fervor...perhaps even, passion.

I do not feel angry or annoyed...and you do not seem to me to be angry or annoyed either.

I 'd love to, if I were in NY,
but I have always felt fine toward u, so far as I remember.
I have no objection to your asking qua prisoners.
Incidentally, qua means: in regard to, or with relevance to, or with respect to,
or with reference to, or in relation to, or touching upon, or having to do with, or concerning,
but it is shorter because it is not as long,
thereby requiring fewer keystrokes and less time to write.

I understand...and fewer strokes is a good thing. Wink

nor would I ever say yes or no on the matter.
I inferred that u implied it,
even coaxing me to guess at what u have (revolver or automatic)
and its caliber. Perhaps I misunderstood.

( but Y u sent me to search for it ???????? )

Only because you had quoted the relevant passage just a few posts prior to your questioning post...on the very same page.

I thought you were just kidding!

Obviously I was questioning your assumption about how I felt regarding gun ownership...and calling to your attention that no one here knows if I own a gun or not. I did get fancy...but these posts have to be fun at times. (See my last comment in this post.)

Sure. I don t need to know that.
I 'm STILL not mad at u.

Good. I am not mad at you either. And I do not think you are "stalking" me.

1 thing, tho:
I prefer dinner to lunch; its more relaxing, more comfortable.
So because of the distance between us,
let 's not do dinner, instead of not having lunch, if that 's convenient.
We will save more money by not having dinner n drinks
than we will by not having lunch. OK ?

Okay, let's not do dinner instead of not do lunch! As you mentioned, we'll save more money that way. (Glad you were able to inject some very funny material into this, David. Almost everyone in A2K tends to get too serious too often. Some laughs are the best medicine!)

Armed citizen (customer) kills robber.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPCmefD7Lio

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -Police say a customer in the Dollar General store
on Monday night fired three shots, killing one of two armed robbers.
The second suspect was arrested and is facing several charges,
including murder because his partner died during the commission
of a felony.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the customer had a .45-caliber
handgun that he was licensed to carry when the two robbers went in
the store on Dunn Avenue just before 9 p.m. armed with CO2 cartridge pistols.

Detectives said Rakeem Odoms, 19, and Aundre Campbell, 22,
approached the manager and asked for money.

The customer, a business owner in his 50s who police have not named,
heard the commotion, approached with his gun drawn and ordered the
two men to drop their guns. Police said Campbell did, but Odoms did not.
He was shot three times.

Rakeem Odoms and Aundre Campbell Odoms (left in photo) was dead
by the time the first police officers arrived.

Police said Campbell ran from the store and left in an SUV, but a
family member called the Sheriff's Office and told officers where
they could find him. By late Tuesday morning, Campbell was in
custody charged with armed robbery, felony murder and burglary.

Police said robbery detectives are looking at these two suspects in
connection with other recent robberies in Jacksonville. A records check
finds Odoms had previous arrests only for property crimes and a traffic offense.

JSO Lt. Rob Schoonover said the customer was visibly upset when
he was interviewed by homicide detectives that night.

"He was in a business shopping, minding his own business," Schoonover said.
"He put himself in harm's way by getting involved. To me, that's an
extraordinary person to do that."

Schoonover said the customer's actions prevented any further violence
from occurring.

Sheila Odoms, Rakeem's mother, described her son as funny and being
loved by everybody, and she was shocked by what happened.

"I just can't believe it took place and it happened, but things happen
and we make bad choices, and sometimes we have to deal with bad
consequences," she said. "I'm not mad to the other person that was involved.
I'm not mad and God has the last say so to everything, and right now
he's holding me up and keeping me strong, and I thank God for the
support and the family."

Neisha Kelly, Campbell's girlfriend, said he also made a bad choice.

"Both of them were wrong from what happened, so I don't know,
wrong is wrong, right is right," Campbell said.

This marked the sixth time in Jacksonville in the last year and a half
an armed suspect was shot and killed during the commission of a crime.
