No. Thay r not sufficiently good weapons.
On 9/11/1, the Moslems used them in combination
with their martial arts expertise to murder the flite deck crews.

RPGs are bulky n clumsy.
I 'm not going to carry one.
U can, if u want.
Tanks don 't get good mileage.
My 2011 Toyota Prius gives me c.5O miles a gallon.
That 's almost as good as a tank.

@OmSigDAVID,
No muzzles, just try and tone down the rhetoric so peace can prevail...

So future generations can evolve toward intellect over aggression.

@OmSigDAVID,
Martial arts came from field labor and agriculture...

A sacred ritual of planting and harvesting and oneness with the earth evolved into a blood sport of murder and burying the dead.

Weaponizing society brings us even further from our hallowed state of spiritual balance with nature.

Hallowed state of spiritual balance? Are you completely ignorant of world history? Before guns people killed each other with swords and knifes, before knifes and swords we killed each other with rocks and sticks. Guns haven't changed a thing in human evolution other then to give us the ability to kill each other in different ways.

If you want to pretend to live in a sane world, then be my guest, but we don't live in a sane world. Me giving up my guns does nothing to make you safer, it only makes me and mine less safe.

@Baldimo,
So we are barbarians and always will be huh? So why not exemplify that negative trait even more by weaponizing society (including the crazies) with automatic weapons? No longer do we need to hunt for food so what are we hunting now, each other? (sarcasm)

@RexRed,
You can't own an automatic weapon without extensive background checks, so how are "crazies" going to get them?

Criminals have done that thru out recorded history, Rex.
Did u believe that all of a sudden,
human nature had changed??????

I don 't think so.

Violent criminals
have broken into churches and shot up the attenders.
The wise ones were sufficiently well armed to return fire.
Jesus said that if u don 't already have a sword,
u better buy one.

Anyone can become a gunsmith, the same as anyone can become a knifesmith.
Its not hard. The genie is out of the bottle already. Homemade submachineguns:

What are the chances of a student being bullied,
if he is carrying his own submachinegun??

Soon, thay will all be made on our personal, private 3-D printers!
The usurpations of power by government will be defeated.

Prohibitions are futile; a joke.
How many citizens have been prevented
from having access to marijuana, if thay wanted it????
How many taxpayers' billions of dollars -- how many-- have been devoted to that Prohibition???

Usurpations and oppressions are OUTRANKED by the freedom of the Human Spirit!

@RexRed,
Maybe, but once an automatic weapon is licensed, it can only be legally sold to someone else who has the type of license that allows an automatic weapon. They are extremely rare and cost a lot of money. A regular AR-15 can be purchased for about $1000-$2000. A legal automatic weapon can sell for as little as $8000 and go higher based on the rarity of the weapon in question. Sure you could make your own automatic rifle, but you get caught with that thing and I don't think you will be seeing the sun anytime soon.

Most legal gun owners are not going to own something that is going to get them jail time. They are called legal gun owners for a reason.

Nonsense, David!
The theory is that we, the citizens,
are supposed to keep our employee, government, in line.
The Constitution was ratified upon the basis of that argument.
Sovereignty is in us, not in our employee,
as of the time that we thru out the minions of the King of England.
A boss must always be ABLE to discharge his employee.
The Authors of the Constitution knew that.

Thank you for that information, David, but as I noted earlier, the suggestion that the 2nd Amendment protects and perpetuates the 1st Amendment...is abject nonsense.

By the way...WE are the government. WE employ US. WE are both boss and employee...even if you want to think otherwise in order to assert that the 2nd Amendment protects and perpetuates the 1st.

There are vids on youtube showing people in America walking down the street carrying assault rifles, then being rude to the cops who have been called by worried citizens to check them out, what's their big idea, are they psychos or cop-baiters or what?
