Actually it's still Weeny Wednesday, so Good Friday's not til day after tomorrow. Oh, you may be in Oz, in which case you're living in our future already. Ah, the OP is dlowan, so she really is living twelve hours in the future. How's Thursday in Adelaide been for you so far, deb?

Ok...only I was late for work and then couldn't find a park.

However, I have distributed odd little piles of wee easter eggs to celebrate the goddess and decorated a boiled egg. Also, tomorrow and Monday are holeeedays!

Yay!

Riff on maundy plus thoughts of easter candies showing up all around, as you yourself have acted out for me!

@ossobuco,
Indeed. Just had feverish grumpy rabbits served for morning tea. Somehow I just can't take today seriously!

@dlowan,
Especially now that I looked it up and discovered Maundy is washing feet day.

All you christians ought to be out looking for dirty feet.

How long's it gonna take you lot for someone to look up the word 'maundy' and explain wtf it means.

As an irrelevancy, why's it Good Friday? What's 'good' about a man being executed by the equivalent of a Roman firing squad? Eh?

@Lustig Andrei,
Set's link is a hyperlink. It explains it there.

I have always wondered why it's "good" too. I imagine the explanation would be there if one googled it. This thread, however, is here for nonsensical suggestions, not sober truth.

When I was a kid I could never understand how jesus was an adult when he was crucified, but had clearly only lived a few of months. I used to sing happy birthday to him on christmas morning, too.
