I am not...........well, maybe a little bit. Sorry. I have been working. I'm working in a small lake town North of Dallas. It's an hour and a half drive from my home to work and then back again. That's 3 hours out of my day (thank goodness for NPR) and when I get home, I have three hours to get to bed and go to sleep if I want to get 8 hours, which I better because I'm getting old. Sad, but true. But still, I know it's a not a very good excuse because it's true, I do play games on Facebook which is stupid because they're rigged and it makes me mad but not mad enough to stop. What can I say, I'm obsessive compulsive. Love you all.

Good to see things are going decent for you and completely understand the rigged game addiction. Been there, still get trapped in it at times.

Now off to see if the waiter will bring me my blueberry crumble and a pot of black coffee (yeah, I know it's midnight, but oddly enough caffeine sees to work as a sedative for me.)

I have become positively addicted to watermelon lately. I don't know whether I just failed to appreciate it fully in the past, or this year's crop is unusually sweet and delicious, but I'm craving it, and enjoying it, much more than usual.

Weirdly enough, the effects of Friday the 13th didn't hit me on Friday but today.

Yeah, there's a time delay sometimes. But it's worse, actually, when it sneaks up on you and Friday the 13th suddenly crops up on, say, a Tuesday.

Strangely Friday the 13th never bothers me in the least. That may have to do with a strange family with 3 persons born on a Friday the 13th. The most interesting was the one born on Friday the 13th in 1913.

The dangerous day for me is Friday the 31st. It began on Halloween in 1975 when I decided I could fly (at least that's a suitable explanatory for how I went down that entire flight of stairs in one move, the gin I'd consumed had nothing to do with it .

I think Friday the 13TH can only affect us if we believe in it and "will" it to happen.
