Mid-morning here - think I'll settle for some tea, toast and oranges

On second thoughts - a sundae with hot fudge sauce might be rather appealing. Warm and pleasant enough outside to eat al fresco - mmmm, don't want this beautiful weather to end!
Better be careful there Vonny. The transit authority has rerouted the Houston Street bus and now it's chugging along Bleecker right by the streetside tables. Much better that you secure a spot on the back part by the poplar trees.
Now, let me get my blueberry tea and a fresh fruit plate.

@vonny,
I can't remember the last time I indulged in a hot fudge Sundae. ((looks sullenly with puppy dog eyes at Vonny's second untouched Sundae))
Personally I'm in the dumps that we lost JCBoy when Lola showed up and started this thread, and he mistook her (my opinion) for somehow being anti semitic.
He went off half cocked but I understood it, the whys and the anger. Of course I still like him.
I know Lola, I don't think she is anti semitic. At least I never picked that up and I have an ear and have met her several times.
We all carried on, and Lola engaged with her thread.
And left with no notice.
Cold.
I still like Bernie.

Big change in the weather today - even Big Ben was partially obscured by drizzle
I think I'll have some tea like that chap over there -
It's bright and beautiful where I am. Just gorgeous weather, a bit cool for this time of year, but no complaints. I'm ready to trade my shorts for long pants.
But, just to warm up a little, I think I'll have a nice comforting bowl of lobster bisque. That seems to bridge the gap between summer and fall.

If anyone is interested in getting me a small gift, I'm going to drop a hint about what I'd like...

The most expensive diamond currently on the market is for sale in the Crescent City.
“Blue diamonds are extremely rare and 99.9% and that’s not an exaggeration are under one carat, so to find one that’s not only over one carat but over ten carats is truly extraordinary,” says Bill Ray, CEO of M.S. Rau Antiques on Royal Street in New Orleans.
The blue diamond itself is 10.06 carats, it’s surrounded by pink and white diamonds and set in platinum and rose gold. It costs $9.85 million dollars.
“It’s from the same mines as the famed Hope Diamond that’s in the Smithsonian, except, it’s actually a better diamond than the Hope Diamond. The Hope Diamond is not nearly as clear as this one. This one is VVS-1,” says Rau.
“It’s something that if you offered me twice as much money and said give me another one, it couldn’t be done.” That “Royal Blue,” named for Royal St. is truly a one-of-a-kind gemstone.
