@spendius,
I read up on all the threads happening via New Posts, and clean them up as I go, an attribute that offends some a2kers, re how dare I thumb down. Too bad so sad, too glad to lose some ad fad.

I'm not endlessly fascinated by my own discussions, much as I may seem so, and since I have participated in countless posts, countless of my posts can show up in My Posts in some kind of wildassed order. Pah!

@ehBeth,
Were baking fresh shells with a little anisetta in there just so they dont taste like crispy cardboard.

I suppose youre one of those who likes rice cakes as a food-like product eh?

hmm rice cakes
they have their place
I like them with cheese and tomato - heated in the toaster oven
both of the dogs like/d them as a treat - and dogs for dummies approved of the plain and white cheese versions

crunch matters to me, so I'll take rice cakes over some other healthy food options

but I'd rather have the cannoli shells - they're decidedly unhealthy Very Happy

Has it occurred to you that you can clean up My Posts in the same fashion as you clean up New Posts, Osso?

I click on My Posts nearly all the time. It shows me what's happening on the threads I'm engaged in.
If nothing much is happening I click on New Posts in the hope something interesting will appear at the top. I never scroll New Posts down.

And that's exactly what I have always done.
Then I look at the English and Grammar threads to see who needs correcting.

You folks are weird. I'm with McTag on this one. The only way I navigate this site is through "My Posts." It's the first (and sometimes only) thing I click on when I come to A2k. From My Posts I can go to any thread that I'm involved in.

All very confusing. Someone ought to start an instruction thread for newbies like me - Found Soul taught me about threads and posts, and other A2Kers taught me how to post quotes, video clips, et al - all piecemeal! Still making mistakes. I log on and go to My Tags - seems easiest way to me. BUT - never looked at New Posts before - ah, that's how people know what's being posted where and when! Oh McTag, please don't correct my English - didn't realise it was being scrutinised - my thoughts just fall onto the pages unchecked and uncensored!

How the hell would anyone find something new to read? I go immediately to the "New Posts" rubric, that's more than enough pointless grief and idle silliness for me for one day.

@vonny,
This is the problem for me, I go to my posts as well and scroll down and click and do what ever.

But I forget, and MISS new posts and as such I miss threads that are important to you and sad for me, such as....... (ones of injuries or of the heart of those I have conversed with). And apologise for missing those threads..

Seems we are talking about "My Posts" and forgetting about the people here and what we MISS (Missy love you my darling dog) by viewing new posts.

Just saying.

Need I say anything Setanta? Your post is self-explanatory, and possibly self-descriptive?
