It does depend on what sort of weasel it is............

Well, I'm not going to cross anything on my ass. It's much too precious to me. Still, I'd like an invitation for a boat ride and a brief porch occupation, once the weather or insect population, or what ever it was gets better.

We had a middle of the night boomer and its cooling down considerably. It was in the 80's yesterday.Thats too warm too quick

We had a middle of the day boomer yesterday. One thunder bolt was sooo loud it shut off the cable and internet for a few minutes. Bothersome, but impressive. It was cold after that for the afternoon and night. But it's back up to 74 now. Very nice and sunny.

@Lola,
When the cable goes out you need a backup system. I say it's time to bring back the time honored tradition of story telling. It so happens that as I write this, the Five Boro Story Project is getting under way and this lovely venue would be an ideal place to warm up our skills (although the first of the nights already passed).

In the meantime, I'd like something absurdly bad for me in the way of chocolate...and a carafe of coffee as well.
No, no. NO sugar or other add-ins.

It wasn't off but for a few minutes, but I did notice a slight feeling of panic with the thought of, "what would I do without the internet?" Ugghh. I guess it would be back to books and newspapers. Not all that bad, but it's not interactive enough for me.

@Sturgis,
Well, since the Five Boro Story Project also features the City in music, how could we not listen to some well known selections?

And, as for the City in cinema, we could always ask Wassau to schedule our own private Woody Allen Film Festival, featuring his films that are set in NYC.

And, Sturgis, please ask Wassau to bring me one of those decadent chocolate creations he made for you--it looks fantastic.

You can aggravate the editor and by-lines with letters.

And there is always the daily crossword puzzle.

Speaking of that, does anyone have today's NY Times?

That's my major reason for even buying the paper every morning.

No well educated person would ever go near a "daily crossword puzzle".

@ossobuco,
Spendi doesnt have a really big "to do list" in this world. so his only pleasure is trying to verbally wank in public.
