@ehBeth,
Sequins are us, say Diane and I.

We're both not very fluffy clothes wearers but have weakness for occasional sparkly stuff. I'm sure we both appreciate fine jewels (I still remember walking into the Waldorf via a jewelry shoppe - at least fifty years ago - and the jewelry section at Neiman Marcus) but I also like cheapo bangles.
Which is just as well.

Same here.

Bling it on!

A little sparkle lightens things up, it's fun. I am gradually acquiring quite a collection of tops with a bit of glitz--some rhinestones, or sequins, or studs, or beading. Well, a few have more than a bit, which makes me reluctant to wear them to my usual haunts, they're a little too flashy for me to feel comfortable in them, but what the hell, everyone makes an impulsive shopping mistake from time to time. I might wear them here, on those occasions I sit in darker corners, just so Wassau can locate me by the gleam.

@ehBeth,
They might be called sequins Beth but they are certainly noseequims. (An ambiguous word I invented on the spur of the moment.)

They are veils really. Like the ha-ha is in landscaping.

I'm not sure. I just know it when I hear it. I have posted videos on here from time to time. But when Sony Music took a hard line with U-Tube most of them were deleted. There are a couple of ballet sequences on this thread.

The trouble with answering a direct question like yours is that my choosing something carries the implication that I value a lot of other stuff less and that is not the case.

I chose the ballet because I came across them and liked them enough to think some of my friends in here might enjoy them. I thought it impossible to dislike them. And they said something I think needs to be said. Or at least remembered.

It's probably to do with accomplishment and not faking it. To include production values.

I'll maybe have a look for something to satisfy your curiosity a little.

The electric versions are on another level. That's an apprentice.

I bet I could locate you in a deep dark forest even if you were plastered in mud.

PS--Being nostalgic I mean.

@ehBeth,
OK, I'll have a bagel with cream cheese and some rhubarb jam. Oh boy, I'm going to be virtually fat.

I'll have one too, but you can skip the rhubarb jam.

Just drizzle a little honey on top of the schmear...thanks, Wassau.
