I'm home sick today, but had to run out on a quick errand. It completely wore me out, and I wanted nothing more than to fall into bed.

Someone threw up in my bed.....on the side I sleep on.....right where my upper body/face would be.

I'll be on the couch if anyone needs me.

@chai2,
I was on the phone the other evening and Callie, our Maine coon, caught a mouse and brought it to me.

@chai2,

Yeah, Chai, a part of being a cat is to spit up fur balls from time to time. But I try to forgive our cats for that, primarily because cats are the most beautiful creatures on the planet.

Our new guy seems to be imprinted on Nancy. Comes over to me once in a while (especially at night when we are all in bed), but for the most part, Nancy is his world. I'm happy about that because Sparky and Cat were both especially attached to me. They are gone now...and Cabot fills our days with his delightful presence.

@chai2,
My roommate's cat never throws up on my bed. He always throws up in and around her shoes and on her bed.

Maybe its a feline sign of affection. Razz
But, yeah I too subscribe to the cats as Satan's minions theory as well.

@tsarstepan,
I don't know tsar.

Maybe we're not taking this seriously enough.

Are cats prone to bulimia? Do they suffer from poor body image?

This might be a cry for help.

@chai2,
Raja's always grooming himself. I think they're might be something to your poor self-image theory.

@chai2,
Naw . . . they're just evil. They have taken offense in some obscure way of which you could never hope to be aware, to they'll find some place that smells like you, or something to which you pay attention, and they'll pee, or poop or puke on it.

@Setanta,
Then I wonder what I'm doing right to gain the respect/indifference of my cat. Now I'm going to have to walk on egg shells to keep at least this neutral status quo. Neutral

@tsarstepan,
Don't bother--they're evil, and they will make you pay and pay, sooner or later.

Here is Lincoln and Dewy, one time Dewy puked from the top of the cat tree, hit the lamp, table and then the floor!

Chai

I'm disappointed in you - giving some ground to that grizzled old curmudgeon Setanta, about cats.

Cats are magical beings - Possumcat has been a great comfort since I came out of hospital - a warm, furry body beside me - just when we're having record heat wave! 46.5C yesterday - 115.7F

Frank - that's a great looking cat!

Tsar...shame!

ps. Chai - feel better soon!
