i find it hard to believe that you dont remember what is wrong with you...no reputable shrink would let you get away with that.

I think you are quite bright, angel. Your english grammar is good, among other clues.

This is what I am talking about, which you skimmed over:

The Mayo Clinic has a ten page section on self injury/cutting.

You have not mentioned having a treatment plan, Angel.
I think you need professional help to overcome your anxiety and self harming behavior.

@ossobuco,
Went to my counselor today. I told him there must be 90% chance the Lead reported my cutting when I told her I cut myself. He said he's 99% sure bc it's a safety issue. Just wondering how it's safety issue if I wasn't hurting other ppl. lol.

@Angel23,
It's a safety issue to YOU.

They seem to think they have some responsibility for your safety. Your cutting makes it a safety issue for them if you are at work.

That's why you're not getting the hours you want.

@Angel23,
I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Did you tell people at work that you're cutting yourself?

she sure did, she thought it would make people feel sorry for her and then they were supposed to give her what she wants. she seems to have never learned that not keeping silent about your weaknesses normally hurts you.

@Roberta,
I told the team lead in front of 2 other coworkers that I cut myself. Next thing I know, I'm not on the schedule, so they must have told the supervisor.

@Angel23,
If you want any privacy at all, you need to take responsibility for same. You cannot talk about something about that and expect it to somehow be a secret, even if you ask for it to be secret.

And, frankly, if a coworker told me she was cutting herself, I'd run it up the chain of command, too. I'm not equipped to deal with that, and would be concerned about what might happen if that coworker did it again at work, or in front of a customer, etc.

Everybody else is reacting in an appropriate manner. They learn of this stuff from YOU, and then you're shocked that there are consequences in terms of your hours? Once again, you are clueless as to dealings with people. Go back to your counselor. Your biggest problem is not a reduction in hours.

@Angel23,
What did you counselor have to say about your cutting yourself?

What is he/she doing to help you with that?
