I just learned that March 8 is International Women's Day. I have yet to receive any cards, flowers, or acknowledgement of any kind. Crying or Very sad

Come on men of A2K, how about a little homage to the fairer sex today?

That's interesting. March 8th was always women's day in russia. We gave flowers to every woman we knew, we did.

Due to my deep respect for the weaker sex I usually set aside this special day to provide sexual services free of charge.

Come on, somebody's GOT to get pissed about the 'weaker' part.

Errrrrr, no, I think I like that idea, Craven. Well, not the sexual services for free thing. You know what they say - you get what you pay for.

but, weaker, ok. I'm weaker. You can continue to carry all the luggage and I'll comment worshipfully about your divine biceps and triceps and deltoids. I think that would be appropriately weak.

Oh, no guys! I think I just realized something. ehBeth may have released a huge secret unwittingly. I am lead to believe that girls only let us feel stronger so we will be their laborers! Argh!

Hay, MSOlga, you wouldn't happen to be russian, would you?

I looked around all day for a nice gift for kirsten but my search was in vain. Nothing out there. I was quite irritated because I really wanted to get kirsten something nice.

So I started digging around in my closet. I found something left over from the last party and thought, "Why not give this to kirsten?"

Sometimes I have really good ideas....

What's up with all this? We have Valentines Day. We have Mother's Day. We have National Secretaries Day. Each of these requires a certain expenditure of discretionary income to benefit the females in our lives. Now we add one more? Being the gentleperson that I am, I consider that there are 365 International Women's Days in a typical year (366 this year).
