As usual you come to battle equipped with right wing thinking instead of facts!

Bush campaign announced (rather proudly) that they went for the eighth grade intellect in the 2000 election!!

Look it up if you can figure out how to!

Surely someone with a doctorate degree could have simply added a link to prove their point. That way, we un-washed masses could simply read the same quote you are referencing. Surely someone with a doctorate degree doesn't need to have their facts checked for them, do they?

Perhaps they wanted to get some democrats to vote for them as well and they needed to stoop down to the eighth grade level to get to the smart ones. Who knows...

Well, I was hoping that you would have followed proper ettiquette of making a claim and backing it up, but apparently they didn't teach that to doctorate candidates in 1984.

Frankly, it isn't that important to me and I can certainly take your word for it. As I said, perhaps they were seeking out the liberal vote.

I rarely agree with McG (and I don't here, either), but I do think he should be treated with respect. We don't have too many posters from the right wing, and I'd hate to alienate those who post here. It wouldn't be as interesting!

So when Conservatives believe in their cause and wish to shout their support from the mountaintops, they are just like a tape recorder playing back what they heard.

Yet when Liberals endlessly parrot back the 'Party Line' and forever regurgitate the masses of bile that they ingest sucking at the teat of the Liberal propaganda cow, they are somehow 'Free Thinkers' Rolling Eyes

Get real Nona and realize that we on the Right have our own beliefs that we have formulated after many years of intelligent observation and reading.
To demean and try to minimize the Right just because thats what you think will 'get a laugh' doesn't speak well for you.

Please try some intelligent commentary in the future and leave the jokes to professionals.

9/11, 9/11 that is what Bush's entire presidency hinges on. I would be remiss if I did not mention that-that tragedy [WTC] happened in NY City. And yet the people of NY are overwhelmingly in favor of tossing Bush out of office. Is it possible that we resent being used as a photo and a pawn to foster his misdeeds. In addition does it sit well with you having a president that is an out and out scoundrel?

Keep in mind AU that New York is also the state that voted in the Hildabeast as a senator. I wouldn't hold much faith in the general electorate that is New York. Those of us in NY that try to keep some semblance of balance are the only real saving grace.

I'd love to see this backfire on the Rove team. Big time. Because the GOP is holding its convention in NYC (later than usual) for obvious reasons. If the furor over these ads continues, things could get mighty uncomfortable for Rove and his president as we approach that convention...

So Bush is whoring the victims and events of 9-11. Surprise surprise.

(Maybe they're hoping the viewers won't realize that the guy responsible for the US's worst terrroist attack and whom Bush said that he wanted "Dead or Alive" is still on the loose? Or the incompetence involved in missing serious warning signs of the impending attack?)

Speaking of which, I wonder if it bothers anyone on the right that Bush hasn't even mentioned Osamas name in a few years? Probably not. I'd be at least a LITTLE bothered by that.
