@MMarciano,
Hawkeye loves to portray himself as a hero and a freedom fighter, just because he cannot maintain an erection unless he's throttling some poor cow in front of his pervy mates. Please don't make him a martyr as well, he's just a sad twat.

@ossobuco,
I would never out him on here, I would never do that, I don’t hate the man, I actually don’t hate anyone, he’s just an ass and karma always comes back to bite you on the ass.

Moving focus here - have you ever stopped boycotting a company?

I was involved in a political fight to keep Walmart out of a key bit of land in my last town, and only went to one once, when I was desperate when I was staying in a motel in Salinas on my way to Los Angeles. I even went to Starbucks - oh, that was a rule busting day, starbucks re the burny coffee - and then picked up some cds at Walmart. I have my limits re radio music/talk radio along certain long highways and still had quite a way to drive. Anyway, on the political fight, we won.
Walmart is now, maybe a decade later, in that town, but not at the primo spot.

I have not liked Walmart for all the usual reasons, but I've recently gone there a few times. They are close by (I don't drive much), they are way less expensive than my usual grocery (I've low income). The place scares me, less now since I've improved my timing but heavily the first time, as it was like a moving network of racing carts, especially at the entrances, a strange barrage.

So, I'm not pure, but I've tried to follow my approval of companies by action and vice versa re baddies, though not usually in some kind of crusade way, just that I supported some companies and their products. Like others, I've steered my buying to local family businesses.

It seems that some who claim to know you somewhat well dispute your assertion.

A talk might be in order.

It is very simple...what matters here is the moral worthiness of A2K. If A2K is the kind of place where such threats will be made and tolorated then A2K is not good enough for me. If I find out that someone actually put in the effort to find me, whether they have the right target or not, then I will seak better.

Even if that does not happen at this point the guardians of A2K should be making themselves clear that such behaviour will not be tolorated, and that anyone who engages in it will be banned.

I have always held A2K and most of the people here in high regard. I might have made a mistake.

Well, so far four of us who don't agree with you have said outing your restaurant is inappropriate (0r similar).

You're working up a piece of gristle and are bound to break it down to small bubbles.

The biggest mistake you've ever made is taking yourself way too seriously. You haven't got a ******* clue, I've lost count of the amount of times you've been proven wrong.

Speaking of which, I notice your Libya thread has gone silent of late. Not so easy intoning 'Helluva job America!' after there's just been universally accepted free and fair elections, and a secular, non islamist candidate has just been made president.

Helluva job Britain and France, (with America handling logistical support.)

I have to look back - I thought that was my Libya thread.

Ah, I see there are a lot of them.

@ossobuco,
I will still boycott Walmart. They only offer domestic partner benefits in states where it is required by law. They choose not to in other states.

@hawkeye10,
Moral worthiness? You need to spend some time in front of a mirror, hawk. Your moral high road is a farce, as is your self-appointed mantle as the spokesperson for the collective. You're just one person, as are we all. You have an opinion that you're entitled to express, but when it devolves into name calling (yes, you) then you shouldn't be surprised when the A2K collective jumps on your ass.

I have no control over what anyone else does, so if you have a problem with them talk to them yourself. I’m done with you, putting you on ignore and this time I won’t peak, cheers!

Showing here clearly the problem of Americans not being able to prioratize or know the value of things and ideas. Name calling is not equal to threats of harm, not even close. Name calling is near normal in spirited debate, and a lot of people here do it. By your standard it is ok the threaten a good third of A2K'ers because we have name called. Nope, it is not ok, as the guardians will make clear if they take the high road.

Haha, hawk eye talks about moral - he who promotes rape, corporal punishment and thinks child pornography is perfectly all right. You don't even know what moral is if it would hit you on the head.

It looks like you ran out of luck already!!
