My wife and I walked into Teuscher's, because it's located on Sutter Street, same as the Rex. If I remember correctly, a one bite piece runs about $8. Wink

OK, that would be enough.

Picturing myself waving them away when sleepy...

Sigh.

Well, maybe I won't go in there. The temptation would be too great.
Bankruptcy due to chocolate. Nah, even I won't go that far.

"Excited" is an understatement! LOL Learning more about my wife's mother's side of the family. Interesting stuff; their family was one of the noble families that helped defeat the Tokunaga clan, the shogun for over 300 years. We're going to be visiting Himeji Castle, noted as one of the best in Japan today, for a short visit - where their family crest is on display with 19 others on a special plaque - in honor of the families that helped Fujiwara defeat Tokunaga. Will take many pictures to share when we get back from Japan.

Diane, what a terrific avatar.

Hmm, maybe I need to post the one of me and the pacc at the Fort Mason dog walk, has a wee bit of the GGate in the background. Nah, I'll just give a link.

edited to take link out... because the link goes to a picture number, and each time someone adds a picture, your photo's number changes..

Feolola, that link was wonderful--one of the funniest site ever!! Wow, I'd love to see one of their events--I'd fit right in as I'm sometimes known as "Our Lady of Perpetual Menopause." Occasionally it is shortened to Sister Menses, Keeper of Hot Flashes. Embarrassed

Do you think you will be able to come? You haven't mentioned anything for a long time. I hope so.

Diane, The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were only one of the refined cultural influences in the Bay Area that I enjoyed so much when I lived there.

They did set a few eyebrows aflutter when they first scampered on to the scene in 1979 in their pious glory. I thought they were a tad too subtle to last or to make much of an impact---but I was wrong. They are still boogieing around.
