Oh, C.I., the bridge photo is a work of art. I love its composition.
I envy, Jjorge. It must be wonderful to converse with Dys.

Jjorge, I've got to return someday to Sevilla, if only to see the gypsy flamenco dancers. THAT was magical. I did a painting with them in mind: "El Duende del Flamenco". It is completely abstract but expresses my notion of the gypsy muse from the earth.

Hi JLN,

I loved it ALL...the flamenco DANCERS, the GUITARS, and the SINGING.

The latter has a sort of Arabic 'wailing' (for lack of a better term).

Well, sometimes it is, but in THAT conversation he was trying to borrow fifty bucks!

This is what the San Francisco skyline looks like from my brother-in-laws place.

So, listen, CI, I went through Diamond Point or what? the neigborhood of interest, on my way back to the airport and took some pics. I realized I had been there before, as I wandered about in my dying Volvo in around 2000. Will post these in my next fullbodied posting effort . I have a good one of you, btw, at the ggbridge site. You are the only one who didn't look wracked by the sky... plus a pair to yours of the bridge.

I have at least ten more photos, am just a slowpoke.

jjorge, you gotta watch that panhandling Dys all the time these days cause he's getting ready to move---and that costs a lot, ya know. After all, he's got to keep Diane in the manner to which she aspires. Which means anywhere Dys plops, even in a hovel.

Jjorge, yes Flamenco singing (cante hondo) is a product of southern Spain's Arabic past.
Thanks for the warning about Dys. I definitely intend to meet him some day. I'll watch myself.

Dys
"Impugned" Quickly presses the report button to notify moderators that Dys violated the TOS with a dirty word. Laughing Laughing

BTW Dys, what on you doing on line so early on the morning after Diane's arrival back home? Or are you fixing her a welcome home breakfast?

This reminds me too that I want to post about going to SF later in July, yikes, it's coming up (I need to reserve a room..), to go to the photo show at Fort Mason. I'm all excited about it, have wanted to see that for years. Am set up for four lectures and a seminar on photography collection (not that I can collect, heh, but I am interested in what they say). Something like seventy photo galleries exhibit in the show.
