This morning I came across an old thread, where the writer asked the ages of the people on A2K. Thinking about it, my mind started to wander, and I thought about how long I have been visiting this site. Well.......................this September it will be TEN YEARS! Add on the 3 or so years that I was on Abuzz, and I realized that I have been hanging out with you guys for over 13 years.
How long have you been on A2K? Are you participating more or less than when you first became a member? Are the kinds of threads in which you participate changed much? Do you participate any differently (links, pics, songs, etc.) than when you first started?

About the same amount of time as you, though I wasn't on Abuzz for as long, about a year less.
And I think my participation's mostly the same as it's been throughout, just fewer desperate-new-mom questions in the mix. (Man, Abuzz + A2K were helpful for that sort of thing.)

It has been fun hanging out with you, Phoenix. You were the author of one of the first threads I posted on. I joined in November 2004 during the same week that the legendary spendius joined. (Please believe me that this was just a coincidence.

Well I was on abuzz too - so probably as long as you - I must be really old.
5/31/2010. Not sure if that was when I joined the philforum or when it merged with a2k... either way, I'm glad it did.
Since early 2004, when the Iraq War prompted me to become more politically involved. 35k posts since then; an average of 11 a day, every day, for 8 years.

Went on Abuzz in early 2001. I stuck it out at Abuzz long after the **** hit the fan...hoping against hope that things would get back to normal. It never did...and the Times gave up on it. Then I came here. Been around almost as long as you, Phoenix.
FWIW, perhaps my involvement on both sites has been 13 or 14 yrs, with 9.5 yr on A2K. I believe that I was on Abuzz as early as 1998 but for sure I was there in 1999. Followed the forum over to A2K in Nov. 2002...been here ever since.

I retired in California in October 2002, and moved to Albuquerque. I discovered A2K in 2003 when a friend told me about it. Been here ever since.

May 14, 2009 will be 3 years. I can't exactly remember how long I was a member of Abuzz. A year or a year and a half perhaps.

Since December 10th, 2006
joined abuzz 4/26/01 (but never posted), and then a2k 10/28/02.
i post less these days, due to friggin' work constraints...
Almost 9 years here, of course sometimes sporadically. One 1 @ Abuzz before it took the final nose dive. One @ Raven's Realm, but my attendance was very light.
I joined on August 12, 2003, which, from that point forward, has been known around these parts as "Joefromchicagoday." Over the intervening years, I've contributed about as many posts as Cycloptichorn makes in a typical day, but at least I have seniority over Wandeljw. So I got that going for me. Which is nice.

Here since October 18, 2002.
I noticed that I post a lot less than in the early years. But look through the threads every day ...
