No one seems to be solid so far except Halladay, and Verlander...Lester Got lit up...Sabathia Struggling but winning due to Yankees offense...and Billingsly...Having a great year so far after 2 starts looks like it is going to be a rough day for him too!

Bautista finally got another one, yes! Did Albert hit one yet? Who has Hamilton? I am so happy with his start...

And Valverde has struggled a bit this year...But he did not blow a save all year, last year, and has been pretty solid his whole career as a closer...

the best line I've heard about pappa verde is that he's the mr magoo of closers. it all works out in the end, but sometimes it's a wild ride...

No, But I like Juston Upton....I think he can be a future star...I am a Huge Lincecum fan, and root for the Giants...I jump from team to team...Depending on the players...I like...For instance I liked Braun...till his steroid debocile...Do not really like him anymore for that...I like Pujols...and root for him, and now like watching and seeing the Angels because of it...I like Hamilton a lot, so I like watching the Rangers...And the people on the team...And I like Felix...and Price...So I root for them...Not really one team....But if I had to pick...It would be the Giants because of Lincecum....

This is how my baseball preferences have gone down in my short life Tico...

I was a Blue Jays fan when young...Because I like the symbol the best....And it ended up being they were the best team, along with the braves in that decade...

Then when I seen Matt Williams going for the home-run record in 94' and got cut short...I was a huge Williams fan...He was probably gonna break the record...Even though he came out, and admitted to using roids himself...I still respect him, because Roids were not Illegal then, That is why I believe it is different with Manny or Braun etc...So, I rooted for San Fran because of Williams...And even wanted to be a starting 3b man, on a championship caliber High school team...But was much more built, for SS...and was the Starting shortstop....Had the arm of a pitcher...And can run like the wind!!

Anyways, rooted for San Fran...When he went to Cleavland in 95' I rooted for the Indians, and Albert Belle, Manny, Thome etc....They lost...He went to the D backs, And that was my team...and then around 99' or so, I started to admire pitching over hitting home-runs...And Randy became one of my favorites with Williams...I like Schilling too! and would watch his Boston games! Those 2 basically won the Series, and stopped the dynasty the Yanks had single-handed...With one timed hit by Luis Gonzalez off of Rivera...

Then Johnson came over to San Fran, and I noticed who Lincecum was...I rooted for both, till Randy retired...And now follow the best pitchers...But Lincecum is my Favorite...So I root for the Giants above all others...And would want to see Lincecum strike any of those batters above out! and beat any pitcher I listed before...

Even if another against him is on one of my teams...

I still remember it a bit vividly!...When the winning run was coming home, Matt Williams was at the plate to greet I think it was Tony Womack....who had doubled to score Mark Grace, who singled...So Grace singled, Womack doubled down the right line...Grace scored...Tied it up...Luis hit the bloop off Rivera, and Womack, Scored...Williams was at the plate...

I think everyone remembers that year vividly indeed!

Seems like you both got a raw deal....The game started at 10 pm and it would be over now, and it has only been about 2 hrs....

Anyways, they both are thru 9 it looks like, and both have pitched a shutout...but the game is scoreless...So you may as well as whoever has Cliff be screwed out of a win, and shutout...We shall see...They may bring Cain back in the 10th, he has only threw 90 pitches thru 9...Not sure about lee, but I bet his pitch count is low too!

BTW Cain gave up 2 hits and a walk so far 4 k's

Lee pitched 10 scoreless frames, and could have gone 11. he was at 103 pitches...

and I had both closers and came away with nothing...

I see it...I was wondering if Lee was going out for the 11th?? They could have brought Cain out for the tenth too...I think he left with a little over 100...And had got the ninth in 5 or 6 pitches....but I understand why they did not....

Both teams got screwed from the SP stand point...And Closers got screwed too...
