Being Paid For An Adult Movie--THOUGHTS?!?!?

Reply Sun 18 Dec, 2011 08:04 pm
I am having a discussion with a friend and we are worlds apart in our opinions.

If an unmarried, college age guy was to film an adult movie that involved receiving oral sex from 2 women (one of which he knew) for $50- is this acceptable in current society and "not a big deal?"

Is it a guy being a guy....or a guy degrading women by using them for his selfish desires?

How should he be perceived years later?

How should the women be perceived....victims or girls having some fun?

Thank you!

@TPDELARAY,
I think its degrading for everyone involved. I think it will be preceived later as doing something stupid for $50.00. Of course that’s just my opinion.

@TPDELARAY,

It is their private business; no one else's.

@TPDELARAY,
Looks like you were telling us about the same discussion over here in this thread:

Even the placement of the ellipses is the same.

To many people, a person who does a sex act for money is a prostitute. Whether having sold your body is a "big thing" is for you to decide. Fifty dollars isn't much for being pimped in an xxx movie.

It depends. We don't know them. Possibly those two things, possibly prostitutes. I don't see the "fun" is sucking some guy's cock, myself. Maybe I'm old fashioned. If it was "fun" why did they need to be paid?

$50? I knew times were bad in the industry but that low of pay is rediculous.

Are you aware that a lot of women look at the giving of blow jobs as a form of empowerment? They get to make a guy cum through their skill...what is not to like about that?

There is no one getting used here, the only way there would even be the question would be if the advertised BJ's were really face fucks.

You really are an idiot, aren't you? She was paid. It wasn't her boyfriend's cock she was sucking.

Does not matter, BJ's are not a form of male oppression in part for the reason I gave, so there should be no concern that they will be perceived to be.

Bottom line: being paid for sexual services makes the provider a prostitute.

@contrex,
My impression from reading the original post here is that the OP's friend, the student, gets paid $50 by the movie producer - he doesn't have to pay the women, though they may be getting paid from some other party. As to long-term consequences (assuming he takes that money in order to make the movie) depends on what his plans are for the future - certainly the existence of such a movie would be the kiss of death in many professions. Is $50 worth it?!

Is there something rong with rendering a service in exchange for payment??????

If so: WHAT is it????

WHATAYAMEAN "sold", Contrex???
U think he does not get to KEEP his body?

It is not even RENTED; he is merely rendering a service.

If it's not illegal and everyone's a consenting adult and getting paid, what's wrong with it? I don't think there's anything wrong with prostitutes, either. They're providing a service, just like a housekeeper provides a service. Doesn't matter what they're actually doing. There's no way prostitution will ever be outlawed, so the best thing to do is to manage the profession - legalize it, require uptodate medicals, ensure safety and hygiene, etc.

Agreed.
I once knew a young lady, named Cindy, who had trouble finding work
after she lost her job. Eventually, she became a lady of the evening.
When she told me, she sounded ashamed of it.
In the fullness of sincerity, I assured her of no loss of respect for her.

I read this to mean that HE got paid $50 to participate in a porno film.

Yes, that could come back on you in later years. Not the act itself, but the fact that you were paid.

@TPDELARAY,
I'd not suggest putting this prior experience on your resume.

And you definately wouldn't get a job teaching. What type of career do you plan to do after college? It could be a huge career limiting move depending ...

@TPDELARAY,
He's not interested about the money, let's face it, $50 doesn't buy you much..He's interested in having two women go down on him, consequently, he's also not thinking logically of the future, that movie, maybe being deliberately used against him, let's just say hypothetically, by the girl he knows, to his future wife, or he keeps a copy and his daughter, finds it years later.

Or he becomes famous, highly un-likely, just saying...And, it bites him in the bum, headlines.

If none of that bothers him and you've pointed everything out...Then, it's not your call.

Although you could suggest that as he knows the girl, he backs out of it but they can use him, as role play....Smile

Then he gets his fantasy without it ever been seen in the future.....
