What articles of clothing are commonplace among tough guys & streetfighters (in comics)?

The characters have female friends - that doesn't mean they are gay.

@JGoldman10,
Thongs, tough guys where thongs, or spandex especially when at the carnival.

You know, Goldilox, you could attract a lot of readers if you had something set at a carnival. Lots of pink cotton candy, whips, teddy bears, rides, all sorts of places where criminal elements could be hiding out doing their dastardly deeds to the innocent homosexuals there intending to have a fun day at the carnival.

Your hero, Puffy McQueerly could come to the rescue and vanquish the scoundrel heterosexual criminals.

What types of things do tough guys and streetfighters typically wear in comics besides fingerless gloves, sweatbands on the head and wrists, scalley caps, other caps, arm bands, jackets, vests, tank tops, sleeveless T-shirts, regular T-shirts, gold chains, brackets, and belts?

Someone had told me, metal gloves, spiked elbow pads, long spike cleats, football shoulder pad-type gears, and sunglasses.

The same person had said:

lots of jeans, gym shoes, hiking boots, ace wraps, sweats. If you have teams, then many characters may have the traditional t-shirts or ghi's with their logo somewhere on it.

Ace wraps are those bandages that people wrap around their hands and arms but I have ho idea what a ghi is.

It took me a while to find this.

@Sturgis,
Oh I see- you are still making fun of my characters.

I don't have any gay characters.

My cat, Puffy, is not gay. In case you missed the post:

This is a pic of my character, Puffy:

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s36/MAvericker/puffypic-11.jpg

He is a cool guy - there is nothing about him that rings or screams gay.

He is another tough guy in Tuffy's crew.

If I wanted Puffy to have a last name it would be some cat-themed punny last name. I would give my funny animal characters cat- and dog-themed punny last name.

And "black" =/= gay.

a gi is the wraparound loose jacket, usually white, they wear in martial arts academies. The color of the belt you tie it with indicates your level of proficiency, black belt, brown belt, etc. Say thank you, Jason.

Is puffy a man or a flatbreasted woman????
Blue eyes and mascara same colour as the T-shirt. Does not look like a cool guy.
The hairstyle fits a second rate violin player.
And then underwear matching his hands and feet.
A large necklace fitting a lord mayor and not a cool guy.
A smile and heartshaped nose fitting a nice little girl.

You have difficulties in creating a real character.

Is this an epiphany Jason? If so, I'm sorry to say you're mistaken, regardless of your personal preferences, not all black people are gay. However, Puffy/Poofy definitely equals gay.

If you don't want him to be gay you should call him something macho like Rock. That's a surefire way to ensure he's straight, I can't think of any gay men called Rock.

@shewolfnm,
I've notice and noted for a while now that his sketches all seem to have an amazing similarity to cartoon characters from real artists of the past. He then tells me I am a spying troll who is an uncircumcised pajama wearing pagan in a pagoda in Parsippany. When complete up against the wall he starts screaming Bible passages from some modern version that no way resembles even the Revised Standard Version, much less the original.

Sugar lips, that is the freakiest gayest, I mean far out there, queer looking cat I have ever seen. He's wearing a blouse with flouncy shoulders, green eyeshadow to match the blouse. He's gay. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrfecttly coifed hair, yup, he's a homosexyal.

Like Puffy Pussy? I don't think that would set well with parents, having their children reading such smut.

What funny animals?

Now, placing to the side that, why would you attach a dog name to a cat or a goat or a sheep? You had mentioned goats and sheep. Do you get turned on by goats and sheep? Or just the shepherds and goat herders?

Jason, hate is not a tolerable act. It is a sin and frowned upon by Godopholus. You must atone for writing such a sinful word.

I have noticed it too. I made mention before that they do not look like 'work' but traces of something else. I just remembered that character this morning and posted it. That was one of the first ones I thought of when i saw his first set of tracings..

@saab,
You trying to be funny or are you being racist?

Some people in BLACK neighborhoods, esp. people in the street wear gold chains and necklaces.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=puffy&page=2

puffy
A person who's got large muscles, but isn't cut up. Thus, the person ends up lookin swollen all over. Not necessarily fat.

can be used as noun, adjective, profanity or nickname.
noun=an extremely cool person.
adjective=amazing
profanity=synomyn of f***
nickname=a nickname for someone that demonstrates puff-like qualities (i.e: coolness, awesomeness, enthusiam)

He is a MAN. Those are BRAIDS he has in his hair- some BLACK men wear braids:

People in the street wear GOLD NECKLACES:

It is OBVIOUS you don't know that much about AFRICAN-AMERICAN culture or BLACK hairstyles.

I have been been wearing my hair in an AFRO for years- when I was younger I used to wear my hair in a cameo/hi-top fade to look like the guy from Kid and Play:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e4/KidNPlay.jpg

I never kept up with black male hairstyles since then - but that doesn't mean I don't know anything about them.

This is another black character I created from another thread - Trump,

alongside another character:

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s36/MAvericker/DiamondandTrump-1-1-111-1.jpg

I was trying to make my characters look pleasant as opposed to looking angry or crass. The heroes should not look like maniacs all the time if they aren't fighting.

Did you ever hear of M C Skat Kat?:

http://www.recordsale.de/cdpix/m/mc_skat_kat__and_amp_stray_mob-adventures_of.._(1991).jpg

I based my "black" characters on Abyssinians and Somalis, which are AFRICAN cat breeds.

Puffy isn't wearing underwear- that is his underbelly showing. He is wearing blue-framed sunglasses.

Don't insult my characters.
