I am writing a multicultural comic book for kids about streetfighting cats and dogs.
People have been trying to focus on my FELINE characters, but I have a bunch of CANINE ones also.
Bull is Tuffy's sidekick, and some other CANINE members of Tuffy's crew include:
Brock, Rock, Boulder, Dane, Dobe, Luke, Duke, Dasher, Sport, Champ.
Does anyone else have any suggestions for other slangy tough guy names for dog characters? Please help.
@JGoldman10,
I don't think you should call your dog Rock.
I think he would give you nothing but trouble...
why don't you give your dogs biblical names?
Malachi and Moses...

Rusty and Dusty sound more like chick names.

I don't know if I want to use Brock -that name has negative connotations behind it.
@solipsister,
That is not even a MALE term.

Buck is another one.
That can be one of Bull's cousins.
I have a friend who likes those mean sort of male dogs and he's had two - one named Kaiser and one named Kruger.
Ruger would be good too.
@aidan,
I got some other other names I want to use for my dog characters - I have to look them up.
Kruger? I am not using that one.
T-Bone is a name I'll use for another PET WATCHDOG. One of the "black" cat's pets.
@msolga,
Firebrand, Hawk?, Patch?.
@msolga,
Mad Dawg and Ruff Neck work as villains.

Your naming your characters after Gay porn stars?

They were your, choices you dimwitted bowl of Martian puke! You selected the names and mentioned them as "tough guy" names.
@msolga,
Tracker?, Knight, Paladin.
Hardy and Brawley/-ee definitely sound like dog names.
