I don't know why this advice got eight (and counting) thumbs down. Sounds eminently sensible to me. If needshelpsoon is getting all angsty about his reactions to watching gay porn, then it's about time he stopped watching gay porn. It's like the guy who went to his doctor and said: "doc, it hurts when I do this." In response, the doctor sagely advised his patient: "then don't do that." It may not resolve the whole "am I gay?" thing, but at least it will address the anxiety.

Why do u assume this person (tellitjustlekethat) is a christian anyone can sign up, comment and claim to be what they r not. God is love and only God judges each person based on how they live their life and repent for each sin. Don't use a comment posted here to judge Christians. The parts you didn't repeat were using murder as an analogy to homosexuality, saying the OP is "falling prey" to homosexuality, suggesting that the OP pray the gay away.

I didn't see anywhere that Truthofgod used murder as an analogy to homosexuality. Or are you suggesting that analogizing needshelpsoon's situation of watching gay porn to watching violent movies is somehow offensive per se?

As for "praying the gay away," that's another mischaracterization. Truthofgod merely suggested prayer "if you believe in God." Again, I don't see anything particularly objectionable about that. If someone believes in the efficacy of prayer, why shouldn't they pray?
