@mags314772,
Three weeks ago today was my knee surgery. I am now free of pain, using a cane instead of a walker, not taking blood thinner or wearing those awful Ted hose, am able to take my arthritis meds again...yeah. in addition, I have been outside today, up and down the front steps, in and out of the car, and have been for a little walk up the street and back!!!! I still plan to do story hour the first Monday after thanksgiving. Life is good.

@mags314772,
Isn't it amazing how much has improved since the previous knee surgeries you and BBB had?

The medical profession learned a lot from what you two and others went through.

@mags314772,
I thought you might be interested in seeing how my physician saved my right knee leg with new technology and great skill. ---BBB

This photo shows the first surgery in 1980 that damaged my right knee so badly. I had to live with this for 32 years and lots of pain.

This photo shows the 2011 surgery that saved my right knee. My doctor's work was outstanding and I'm grateful for his willingness to operate on me. Thanks to my surgeon Daniel W. Junick, Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM.

There was so much damage to my leg and bones discovered, that he had to create a new structure to save my knee as you can see in the X-ray.
